WOW!!!!!!!!! It doesn't look like a figure! It looks like Ian McKellan is right there in the flesh! Fantastic hair application! Perfect workmanship! What a figure!!!

Wow Deano! You are really great at styling and posing your figures 💯👌🏽 After seeing yours I realise that I have to futz with the hair and beard a bit more  on mine than I already have because yours looks amazing. Great stuff and congrats on picking him up! 🍻

This is a beautiful Gandalf the Grey figure! The head sculpt is highly accurate. Sir Ian McKellen's likeness is perfect. The eyes look great. The hands are really good and they have some nice age marks. The fingernails have been dirtied up quite nicely. The skin texture is amazing. The hair is flawless. I like the outfit as well. The figure comes included with some nice accessories. I like the display base with the etched name. The overall sculpt, paint application, and details are exceptional. All of INART's Lord the Rings figures have been top tier and Gandalf the Grey is no different. Solid work on their part! Nice shots, by the way! Thanks, Dean! As always, I really appreciate it! I hope that you're doing well! God bless and stay safe!

Awesome. FYI the inner sleeves have thumb holes if you want to use them to bring those out a bit more

Great video Dean, love my Gandalf.  I recently spent some time on the hair and beard, lovely.  You can also pull the thumbs through his shirt sleeves, that looks good too.

Biggest collecting regret was passing on this figure at the time. Man, it's stunning. Stoked for you, mate. Awesome vid, as always

Awesome review Dean and that Thorin Inart figure from the hobbit looks amazing.

This figure looks amazing. The details of the face, hair, and clothing is astonishing!

Congrats! He is a benchmark piece as to what can be realized. He is stunning. I’ve had mine for about a year… so also had to pay aftermarket prices. Given that I want all the LotR pieces, he was necessary. Can only imagine when he and Saruman are displayed together. Great video. Loved the Frankenstein diorama - perfect for this piece. You’ll get a lot of mileage out of that. 🎉🎉

Dean, you finally got your hands on Gandalf!
I’ve been collecting INART figures as well, and out of everything they’ve released so far, I personally think Gandalf is their best figure to date.
When you really look at everything that comes with it, I also think it’s one of the figures INART put the most care and effort into. You can really tell how much work they put into this release.
Of course, there are no magnets in the base, and the base itself isn’t the most stable, but aside from that, pretty much everything about this figure is outstanding. Haha.

Beautiful figure and showcase

Spectacular!!! Love it!👌

Overall I think this is still the best InArt figure to date, what’s incredible considering it’s the second release. Talking exclusively about the headsculpt’s likeness it’s only behind Snape.
BTW, Dean, the way you putted the hat (slightly angled) in the end of the video was genius, because you have the best both worlds: from the right and front center you see the gorgeous Ian McKellen head, from the left you got shadow and the iconic “wizard shape”.
Cheers!

Incredible footage Dean. Some of those photos look like Ian McKellen himself stood right there. Selfishly I hope we might get a rerelease in the future, but probably not for quite some time. Great purchase, great work

I have it and ok I Like it but...
I have also the asmus Grey and White with the 3.0 heads and well.. I think they are pretty good
Especially with accessories..
The new heads are super amazing.. So I like them all..

This is awesome, as I started my Inart Lotr collection, Legolas just arrived and I do have pre order for Gimli and Saruman, I really want to get this next month, it looks insane, you really have a talent for the styling and posing of your figures, much love!

I got this at release, it’s been a true showcase in my room. Everyone that sees it falls in love with it. The sleeves have finger holes for the thumbs, that cover the pegs. It’s a bit finicky to mess with but worth it, it also holds the hands in better. The pipe can fit into the staff as well. The hair is indeed a bit full, but a slight mist if water can help, a little product as well goes far to settle it. Water in the clothing to shape it is a must. Great review.

The staff light up feature the hole is indeed shallow but it holds up the crystal about where it should be if you lightly insert the peg, the direction of the crystal is important as well to peg it in. This is still one of INART’s  best. I have all of the Lord of the rings fellowship figures thus far. I plan to complete the line, but not the Hobbit stuff. This guy is a grail.

Hi Dean! INART: truly Out done themselves, with the Gandalf 1/6 Scale figure, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring!!! When you Displayed it Outside, that figure looked like a Real Live Person from the Background! The Attention to Detailing on the Face, Rooted Hair on his Head, and Beard, made it Real Lifelike... And Designed on the Hat and Clothing, made it Incredibly Lifesize!!! Not to mention the Accessories as well!!! I really Dig the Vid!!! Excellent Toy Reviewing, Mate!
🧙‍♂️👑💍👍👍

is the 1:6 scale Balrog inart is coming? :face-blue-smiling:
