what's crazy about the second one is he did all that shit instead of studying

What if it's just the cops posting the "what's the worst thing you've ever done" type posts waiting to see who admits to crime?

Ey Hannah the Horrible appearance!  She's like that one "cool aunt" who will tell your kids about things that will give them nightmares.

That guy must have mixed up cocaine and heroin. Literally that scene in pulp fiction on a grander scale. No pun intended

Wow, I found out my boyfriend thought Confessions was an R Kelly song. Saaaaaaad

I genuinely feel bad for the first dude, granted I'd assume that's something you'd do at 14, not 24, but the fact that people were sending his information to the fucking FBI over a cringy joke is so shitty.

For the school one I both respect and resent that Anand was able to do that and get that far. I worked my ass off to get into school, despite my mom being married she was going to be paying solely for college (step-dad has two sons he had to pay for) I basically had to forgo the rest of my teen years in order to get the best grades possible and get a bunch of academic accolades. On top of that I had to  basically beg through scholarship  and entrance application essays to take pity on me and give me money. I got a state scholarship on top of a school scholarship that covered a good chunk of the cost, but they repeatedly verified everything. Hell the scholarship people would do random checks to make sure I was complying with the rules. The fact that he got a scholarship in the first place and then probably never would’ve been caught until he said it is CRAZY.

24:10 idk about Uber Eats, but I had to do a bunch of research about price manipulation for a class I took and Uber absolutely plays games like this (or at least did in the 2010s). I had to go through a bunch of dense legal documents, but the Ride Share Guy had a blog post up at the time (not sure if it's still up, I'm sure Uber wanted him to take it down) that happened to break it down really well for people who don't want to dig into the legal jargon. He asked his Uber driver if he could see their breakdown of what the ride cost, and Uber was showing the driver that the ride cost less than it was charging the rider. In other words, it told the driver the ride cost $20, it told the rider it cost $25, and Uber pocketed the difference. It was a huge scandal.

The second story reminds me of the guy who confessed that he got into college based on a lie he told in high-school. He let people think he was Jewish, and got into a college because of it. He actually started going to a synagogue and hanging out with one of his Jewish college professors. He literally changed his whole life because he was too afraid to stop the lie that started when he was a teenager. He eventually admitted it to his dad if I remember correctly.

11:27 I looked up the article too, the 19yo mother also had a 3yo boy (the baby’s big sis) and her sister who were about to get in the car! imagine having a toddler and a baby at 19! and dying in a hit-and-run at that point!…

I'm old I remember when everyone loved Usher, in the late 90s.

I wonder if pig could use his own aura code for a discount

Nah. confessions was the first Album I ever bought on CD as a kid. He was HUGE in the early 2000s

24:22 Idk if this is real or fake yet, but to be COMPLETELY FAIR, Meta is getting sued for predatory practices aimed at children under 13, and there's a literal paper trail of him targeting teenagers for his apps. One quote is: "If we want to keep them on when they're teens, we need to hook them while they're tweens" 😅 So internal docs and memos absolutely have the possibility to be cartoonishly evil 😭😭

Those texts don't mean much...just because someone expresses concern for their SO doesn't mean they also don't abuse them...abuse works in cycles of love-bombing and abuse. Also how can it be "self-defense" if he broke into her apartment. That's not how that works...

21:42 whether this developer is real or not idk, however, my partner and I both did delivery apps- DoorDash and Uber Eats are the two that have the absolute worst and INCREDIBLY similar to this model explained here...  it's borderline free labor when the numbers shake out for gas and car maintenance.

Unless it was different door dash literally doesnt do most of this. You get a guaranteed 2 dollars and the more you accept order you get a better rating and the higher tips.

Was just needing a new video to watch 😆🫶🥰

At least the last confession, the dude felt bad for what he did 😕

Crazy refresh pull
