Guys for real stop trashing Darklina to raise up Malina, I'm over it ok? I don't want this to be a toxic comment section. Only say good things about Malina, and leave the other ship out of it if you have nothing nice to say. (your negative comments will be deleted!)

He went through heaven and hell to find his way back to her

I mean honestly, how can you not root for malina? Their love is so pure and wholesome. They've been through a lot since the very beginning.

I like the way Alina looks at Mal.. The heartfelt letters were so sweet. Friends to lovers trope isn't really as widely popular as love-hate angsty dark brooding trope but Mal and Alina is love. Mal is so sweet.

The purest ship I've seen in some time. They have the pure love and devotion of Katniss and Peeta, turned up even higher. I love this.

When Alina and the darkling were having their little romance going on, I was thinking, “girl what are you doing? Your true love Mal is out there going through hell for you.” 😭😭😭

I feel like people wanted something quick and people impatiently picked darkling and Alina but love is patient and hard. Mal was it from the start. I understood why she gave up on him, remembering all the little things he did that seem as if it was only friendship that he wanted but at last he came towards the end to reshow her differently. Beautiful show

The moment the darkling heard Alina  and Mal found each other again, he knew he lost her....

The Darkling started to like Alina just because of her power. Mal loves Alina with or without anything. HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE THEM?

I'd pick Mal without any doubts. He's the one. He's pure, he's good, he respects her, he cares, he's loyal, he never gives up, he risks his life in all matters in order to be close to her. I love him. I want someone like him to be my true north.

The moment I heard “I’m with you” and “Get off this boat, or I’ll carry you off”, I was gone. <3

It's so hard to ship Darklina when Malina is so sweet and Beautiful this video makes me love them more.

The show did a great job of showing the love between them...their chemistry was ace, the stolen glances, the letters and interrogating of their own feelings, they are clearly in love but too afraid to admit it to themselves. It was a very beautiful relationship that really anchored the show. You were just rooting for Mal to find her and yelling at her to not give up on him. This vid did a great job at depicting their great relationship! Thank you for this!

Please, they are so cute. They have the history and they love each other. Honestly, friends to lovers is the best trope out there.

I love Mal and Alina! And their story is beautiful!

I literally cannot comprehend why ANYONE who's using reasoning and intuition would ship Alina and Darkling together. Isn't it quite obvious at this point how incredibly toxic, narcissistic, and dangerous the dude is? I mean, he literally tapped into Alina's power and took it without her consent for his own personal gain!! The only things he has going for him is that he's suave (to a point), handsome as hell, and is played by Ben Barnes, who I absolutely adore. That said, the only man for Alina IS Mal. Period. The end. He has been by her side since they were young children, has always protected her and provided for her, and quite literally almost died for her a handful of times throughout the season. It is beyond obvious how crazy in love with her he is. He'd follow her anywhere. Honestly, what more could a woman ask for?

This love is so genuine. The chemistry is impeccable. A love so pure. The way he looks at her. I am in love with Mal. His acting skill is superior. I have falling in love with both of them. Can't wait for season 2

This is why sometimes a great book series deserves a TV series, the Netflix ver gave us a in-depth look into the characters, we got to have a glimpse into what Mal is like, I understand Ben Barnes is eye candy for many, as for the story and the characters it’s been Malina all along 😌

Shipped them from
The first second. Darkling who?

They dont need to kiss or to be that sensual to make us understand they do love each other. Just their mere presence right beside each other and their longing when they're apart, resonates their genuine and sweet love we all clearly see. They are each other's home - the true north they both defined.
