I just realised his flip up shades are compact mirrors. I love all the adorable details like that in this game

Ive already romanced him. Just came here because hes so babygirl i like seeing it again, thank u for your service

It feels comforting to know there is a character with AuDHD.

It was getting so real for me that I’m surprised Skylar didn’t show up with a Content Aware.

this man unironically made me weepy eyed 'cos his AuDHD is so on point for me

He is me. I’ve never felt so-called out in such a loving and kind way. The executive dysfunction, the negative self talk… I love this character so much!

Oh my gosh, I adore this character.
He’s absolutely lovely and yet INCREDIBLY relatable. It’s so sad hearing he doesn’t like himself, because I loved this character instantly…which made me think, maybe I’m more lovable than I think I am too? Gotta love a dating sim helping me to like myself a little more.

He's just like me fr also the tip about just writing anything down not just task seems really helpful.

I’m not even neurodivergent but omg I related to Barry so hard I started crying 😭

i aodre the idea of a person on the spectrum and to combine that with makeup and how we hide ourselfs from others, when in reality, we just dont like us.
makeup can help to feel confident, inspired, powerfull. but when you use a lot it can feel like a mask.
we should never try to hide ourself away. nor to drop our full selfs unto others. but that second part can help us learn to be better around people who want to help, and in turn make us feel better ourselfs.
an absolute darling of a character. did not expect makeup to do so many call outs. but glad he did.
carry on being fav yall!

NEURODIVERGENT ICON

Idk what makes them decide a character concept but I wonder if his concept has to do with the way fashion and trends irl are always changing

Date everything has so many characters that I have never seen this guy, ever

He's one of the killers of my motivation to do a Hate Everything run

Stephanie Sterling killed it with the writing

I'm not attracted to him but hes such a sweetie, aw

As someone with autism and ADHD, I relate to Barry way too much. I love him 💕

Bro is such a mood. my memory is bad too LOL 😂

I love Barry he’s so me! I always have a hard time with remembering stuff. I can see myself in Barry since it seems like he has ADHD (I have adhd :3)

I love him soonmuch. Hes not my usual type but I love when people go on and on about their interests and what they like even if yhey side track. I find that so cute and attractive!

This character is wayy too relatable 😭 especially with the not writing things down portion. I don’t write things down because I have faith I’ll remember but then surprise I don’t. I’m going to make it a goal to and Barry is a nice reminder ❤
