Join us for a 10-day dogsled expedition through the mountains of Swedish Lapland. Starting in Saltoluokta, we travel south along the Kungsleden toward Kvikkjokk and Årrenjarka before changing our original route and turning north again.
Four guests drive their own teams of Siberian Huskies as we move between mountain cabins and wild camping in tents along the route. Icy trails, changing plans, quiet days, fresh snow and a short snowstorm become part of life on the journey.
This is a longer documentary from one of our real dogsled tours — sharing the dogs, the landscape, daily routines and some of the knowledge needed to travel through the Arctic winter.
Filmed in Swedish Lapland during winter 2025.

👋 We are Stina & Matti, and we live in Northern Sweden in a small place called Jokkmokk. Except for making videos, we also run a small company called Jokkmokkguiderna and a kennel called Working Husky Kennel. We offer guided outdoor tours in Swedish Lapland all around the year. During the winter, we mostly do dog sledding tours, and in the summertime, it’s hiking tours, wildlife safaris, canoe, and packraft trips. We live year-round in Jokkmokk with a bunch of Siberian Huskies and 2 Border Collies.

I really hope that the kennel I am going to is taking as much care of the dogs as you are!
We've finally had some lovely cool nights here... making my dogs and me very happy. The blooms have reached the top of the Fireweed, foretelling the end of summer. The first frost is just weeks away now! 😊
