I read an interview with Josh Teskey, he spoke about writing this song. He said he wrote it based on someone who has passed away singing down from the heavens to the one they love still left on earth. Once i read that, the lyrics hit even harder.
Great reaction video!

Aussie here just stumbled across your reaction and let me say, very genuine reaction brother to what is a beautifully genuine song! Thanks 🙏

The Teskey Brothers is a rabbit hole worth jumping in.

He grew up in a house where his parents played a lot of old school soul. Huge fan of Ottis Redding

I appreciate honesty. Sometimes, you just need to be straightforward. Great job!

Australia gifted us with this talent. The band, including his brother, is tight. 🔥

That man had a truly blessed gospel voice. It was seriously powerful, capable of moving people to their knees and urging them to attend church.

Soul music Has  No Color

I love watching the reaction from the people that grew up on this type of music.

Love them so much!❤️ Pure passion!🥰

He does Otis proud. He goes above and beyond on this one as evidenced by his voice cracking which I believe is the most beautiful part of this song as it is indicative of his emotion, that he is giving EVERYTHING, but still tries to give more. A BANGER FOR REAL!!

I read a comment that, the Teskey Brother's grew up listening to their parents soul music. He definitely has Otis Redding vibe.

Original song by Australian brothers.  He isa big fan of Otis ,as anyone who has ever heard him but this guy’s voice is Solid and cannot be denied

Respect for a great review my friend 😊

The craziest part is that they’re not even American. The brothers are from Australia

❤️❤️🔥🔥

This dude sounds like he grew up in the '50s and '60s in the deep south

That  vocal can make you cry . Otis back as a white boy. I like this sound God bless you Josh ❤️

I've said the same.  If I could sing, I'd never talk without belting my message.

Yes the world is somewhat topsy turvy!! I love these kinda surprises 🙂
