It's 2025 and my 12 year old son had this song coming from his bedroom whilst he sang it. I almost had tears of pride in my eyes. We live in Ireland and I loved how Phil was so proud of our country as well as give us this music that will travel through the ages 💜

There is no sign of greater ignorance than a "Thumbs Down" on Thin Lizzy, about the coolest and tightest rock band there ever was, fronted by the GREAT Phil Lynott, an amazing performer and songwriter whom even Bob Dylan called "a genius."

It's such a big shame that Thin Lizzy is still not inducted into the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame. They should be the beacon of this Hall.

In fairness, it's all a matter of taste. Anyone giving a thumbs up to the wonderful Lizzy, has good taste. Anyone who gives a thumbs down has no taste at all!!

Baby daughter came yesterday named her Rosalie - 24.7.17 May she be well, happy, safe and loved xxx

The finest frontman a band could ever have. Thin Lizzy, they just don't make bands of this calibre anymore.

The best lineup of Thin Lizzy.

Filmed at the Rainbow Theatre in London, 29th March 1978. Saw them 20 times when Phil was alive, it was a great time to be young...what a band.

Most underated band ever. No one could touch them. Sound and style all their own. So tight. So crisp. R.I.P Phil Lynott.

Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson were a killer duo

Still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!?!?! Thats injustice.

The lady this song is about just passed away at the age of 82, alot of groups owe a lot to her.

RIP Phil Lynott (August 20, 1949 – January 4, 1986), aged 36
You will be remembered as a legend.

This is the best line up of one of rock's finest bands. Robertson and Gorham on lead guitars - has there ever been a greater sound than when these two played together?

I hereby declare once again that Phil Lynott was the very greatest rocker of all time and Thin Lizzy was the greatest rocking band that ever set foot on stage and set the world on fire

We’ll never see their likes again 🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

This is what rock was once about. REAL musicians.

I agrre to 100%, saw Lizzy with Phil six times and nothing comes even close if were talking about live performances! RIP Phil, Go Lizzy!

Two really great guitarists, playing Les Pauls, through Marshalls....unbeatable.

Truly outstanding,  one of the greatest live bands of all time.
