"Dr whatever"
"It's doctor placeholder"
This article is oddly funny

SCP really went from 7 memorable SCPs to a whole ass, seven hour audiobook in under a decade.

I want off this wild ride

@lewisbarclay9113 4 years ago

And this is his niche in the SCP-youtuber community. Not just his voice, but his willingness to do long-form videos, for those who always want more.

SCP a few years ago: Short and simple creature or object that is either safe, dangerous or world ending in its power

SCP now: a 7 hour long read, full of obscure concepts that makes your brain hurt.

Up next: 24 hours video of SCP 7400 "Inevitable Ouroboros" (part 1 of 7)

“Do the thing and quickly or we will literally laser all of you” my favorite line in this whole video

"And next multipart The Exploring series, we're gonna try and make it longer than the LOTR uncut trillogy!" Carry on my man. You're doing good work and undergoing these longer projects pays out in the end. You should actually consider releasing this in an audio format. This would be great as as an MP3 on a phone

@sengroagers1111 4 years ago

It’s kind of crazy that there’s literal days of audio of just this man speaking on the internet

"Gone with the wind is the longest book ever omg"

SCP authors: hold my beer

The lengths you go to make extraordinary content baffles me. 7 hours of supernatural satisfaction.
Thanks man

Honestly the fact that he put so much time and care into this video is half the reason imma be watching the whole thing. I may not get around to watching every vid but I’ll always appreciate the lengths Exploring Series goes for his content.

His voice, pacing, and voice-acting have improved immensely. The synopsis of each story is incredibly well written as well.

Finally, I can finally play it in it’s entirety

Dr Placeholder McDoctorate is absolutely amazing

@stapuft 4 years ago (edited)

This seriously seems like someone wanted to make an SCP jrpg, and couldnt code, but could write v well, I LOVE IT.

@Oxydoesit2 4 years ago

I can't wait until im financially stable enough to support this man on patreon. Few youtubers put this much effort into their vids

@63lay43 4 years ago

I feel like you just can't hate dr. Placeholder mcdoctorates. He's just so alive and very real and not at all suspicious

@Captain.Mystic 4 years ago

"alright ill just pick an scp and bake a while and hope that an hour from now ill know what to do"
"30 minutes in" wait THIS IS 7 HOURS LONG
