You could do a whole video of just dirty plays by Machado. His dirty slide into second base where he kicked Dustin Pedroia in the knee essentially ended Pedroia’s career.

@rmelin13231 1 year ago

It's not a coincidence that A-Roid and Machado are both represented here. But I think Machado's take-out of Pedroia at second deserves a slice of this pie, as it ended what could have been a HOF career. And there are plenty more where that came from.

10:02 How does an MLB pitcher from this era look at that face on the step back and not think, "This guy on steroids just did a fat line and I probably shouldn't throw at him" 😂

@S_Over_Street 1 year ago

The Harper / Strickland brawl, I laugh every time when Harper throws his helmet to Strickland but the helmet goes way off to the right when it’s thrown, well missing Strickland 😂

As soon as I saw what this video was about, I thought, man A-Rod has got to be in this video, at least once or twice

@Robert-rv3zm 1 year ago

I’m glad you have the Kent Hrbek bush league play as number one. That one play changed the trajectory of the Series and, in my opinion, cost the Braves a title.

The thing I hate most about A-Rod is that he’s so full of shit and never owns up to any of his shenanigans. Especially when it’s on video from several angles. 🙄

This is probably too early for the period this video covers, but Juan Marichal clubbing Johnny Roseborro over the head with his bat

@garyclements9347 1 year ago

I think throwing at batters is beyond bush league

@ChrisPihakis 1 year ago

The Hrbek play was total bush league. I remember watching that live too. My family was huge braves fans, back then everyone in Alabama was, and we were screaming at the TV.

You missed an obvious one for Manny "Dirty" Machado, who single-handedly cut-short the career of Dustin Pedroia at 2nd base.

It is mindblowing to me how people talk about the "integrity of the game," yet it's perfectly acceptable to throw a 95+ mph fastball at a guy directly just because he had your number. Looking at you, Clemens ya overgrown child.

Notice Buster Posey, behind the plate for the Strickland beaning of Harper, stayed out of the brawl. He realizes they won in 2014! (2:50)

Ah yes, the dreaded Leg Lift. I think Barbarian had that as a finisher in his Wrestlemania days.

Yo, didn't Buttermaker tell Rudy Stein to lean into a pitch against the little Yankees in the Bad News Bears Movie?

@orangelab6846 1 year ago

Good ol' Roger Clemmens... the only pitches that "got away" - ALWAYS at the head. Never low or away.

@Tuleyne 1 year ago

You missed Reggie Jackson sticking his ass out to deflect Bill Russell's double play throw in the '78 World Series.

10:23 I love how the Mets stuck up for Piazza- they probably already knew the history from spring training

@briankistner4331 1 year ago

The brush back pitch is classic!! The ultimate terror is when Bob Gibson throws it at you.!

Biggest bush league play in history- June 20, 1980. Detroit's Al Cowens hits a ground ball and, instead of running to first, attacks White Sox pitcher Ed Farmer.
