I'm hearing so far is that Wild Force were like, actually Rangers. Like Park Rangers. Except their 'park' was the whole dang planet.

"The most cops" is actually grammatically correct because you're treating it as a noun and attributing it as a characteristic, not an occupation.

Cryostasis has to be the shittiest form of fictional imprisonment. In the mind of the prisoner they served 0 time, faced no form of punishment besides a few hours in custody

I have a better justification for Zeo being Less Cops than Mighty Morphin: Rita Repulsa was an interstellar criminal who had escaped a prison cell. The Machine Empire was an invasion force.

You know it's a shame megaforce didn't adapt the plot of the original sentai because i would've loved seeing you have a mental breakdown over whether angels who fight evil on the orders of a god in a way that seems like permanent employment are basically just divinely selected cops.

"Deemed pure of heart by dinosaurs" is the stupidest thing I can think of and I absolutely love it. Like it's such a goofy and dumb premise (positive).

Small fun fact: Lost Galaxy's sentai was entirely nature based but the team over at Saban liked the space idea and kept it running into Lost Galaxy.

It gets even better: The original theme of Goseiger was *angels*.

Like actual divine appointment.

I know nothing about Power Rangers. I've never been particularly interested in Power Rangers. Your presentation style makes me actively want to watch this video and learn about Power Rangers. I hope this is encouraging for you.

I wish to live in that 'Warrior-Wizard' bubble outside the scales of justice

Operation Overdrive is hilarious.

"Let me casually exploit an energy source from another dimension to fix my fuck-up and refuse to elaborate further."

They swing from private security forces, to super heros, to mini armies employing, to marshalls, child soldiers, to funded military divisions, to just cops. The Shogunate was a government in Japan, and there is an acadamy, so that makes Samuari cops. In the comics Zordon is linked up to a government police force, hince the "Ranger" in the name making that whole line in the same vein as Cosmic Fury. This big intergalactic marshall system has a deptization system and just goes around protecting life.

for dinocharge you forgot to mention the fact they just stop the aging process. power rangers is so fun

The idea that an alien entrusts sacred artifacts to Earth's bravest warriors, but it just so happens to be dinosaur times so he's giving them to literal animals is the funniest thing I've ever heard XD

17:30 doing the math, it's insane that Tommy went from "racing cars while not visibly in college after graduation" in the first half of Turbo (1997) to "a PhD having former adventurer who has retired to high school teaching" (2004) in seven years. Even if we presume Tommy is much smarter than he really displayed as a youth, that's an accelerated 3 year Bachelors degree, 4 year PhD in Paleontology (with no M.S. between?)? Did he marry Kat after Dino Thunder, then? I guess "Forever Red" was a Spring Break one semester! Busy guy.

Note on Lightspeed Rescue's demons- They aren't just demons from hell, but they're specifically disaster-demons, tied to causing various sorts of disasters. Like, earthquakes, floods, that sort of thing

Time Force Ransik is just a straight up villain using a sympathetic cause to lure people to his banner. In his back story, when he encountered a good human who saved his life(from the poison of another mutant), Ransik immediately killed him for his robots. Ransik only redeeming quality is his love for his daughter, which is the reason he surrender himself

28:21 yugioh explaining why certain characters look like their ancient egyptian counterparts be like:

It's been years since I saw it, but I distinctly remember watching Blue Centurion ticketing cars. Like dude pulled out a measuring tape to check how far from the curb the car was. Most Cop character in anything.

A note for the Jungle Fury rangers is that (discounting the spirit rangers) they’re seemingly separate from the order of the claw. Since while the team all come from the order of the claw The ranger powers didnt come from the order of the claw (though they are powered by their inner animal spirits), but from a mysterious and never revealed friend of RJ’s who made the morphers. Which could murky the waters a tad.
