Clive biggest win con is his Will is tied to power which has the same logic as Simon the digger, and can be recharged instantly
So as long as Clive doesnt insantly die he can literally keep getting stronger

also both of them are universe buster, so theyre equal from the start, with Dante having a slight edge

The people in his chat are trying to twist things lol. The fight with Urizen wasn't in Sin Devil Trigger at all, where Dante had that long fight. Everything in the episode is more or less true, this one's just getting a wild level of pushback and accusations of bias from people who are themselves biased and wanted Dante to win.

One thing they didn't touch on was how much their more powerful forms multiply them by. Dante's multiplier for Sin Devil Trigger is 20 times his base, while Clive's in the Ultimania is multiplying his power by (oddly specifically) 51 times. Clive ends up stronger if you start to apply the multipliers for their extra forms.

I think it's funny how alot of people say it's biased when they are also biased themselves.
And most of them haven't touched a final Fantasy game.

Not to mention that the final fantasy characters and the gods themselves in those game are meant to be very overpowered.

Also it is very fun seeing Dante being his enthusiastic self in a fight. Always enjoying a good fight Dante has.

6:30 if you’re curious on how powerful Gilgamesh is without going into a rant. In the mobile game Fate/GO he does extra damage with his noble phantasm because they’re weak to enuma elish, the reason why they’re weak to it is because this man has their own noble phantasm in this treasury (the gates of Babylon). That’s like over 95% of the characters are weak to it (the game has hundreds of characters). That’s how big his arsenal is. Also it has to maybe be due to them being “blind to the truth of the world” or something bullshit 😂

From how I view Death Battle's Stamina/Endurance stat for the matchup as someone who spent way too much time on the internet.

It should be noted the Devil Trigger forms doesn't exactly have definitive time limits, its more so how much energy are they expending which dictates the length of the transformation as a whole. Dante and Vergil in Sin Devil Trigger forms did flew to the Demon World sometime after 4:27pm, and the Qliphoth getting cut around 6:26pm, which could imply approximately an hour of flying before the form turned off. Leisurely flying alone isn't going to expend as much energy as actually fighting, especially against someone that's comparable to them.

It is true that Dante has fought Urizen in a day-long battle, but we don't have any other information that Dante held his Regular Devil Trigger form for any significantly long singular period of time and not turned on-and-off again in bursts during the battle. It's further muddled by the fact Urizen wasn't taking Dante's attempts seriously enough to get up from his chair, as once Urizen was serious, Dante was blasted out of Devil Trigger and off the Qliphoth.

He did later fight and defeat Urizen in an hour-long battle after he eat the Qliphoth's Fruit, again the issue is that we don't have much information to say he was in Sin Devil Trigger for the entire or majority of the fight.

Dante and Vergil did fought for nearly 40 consecutive days in the Underworld while being occasionally swarmed by hordes of demons. This also has caveats as by that point there were no longer any other demon, even if they came in hordes of hundreds or thousands, that could possibly make them expend much effort before they have to transform in the first place. Also, neither Dante and Vergil were serious about killing each other like previous times and we don't have any other information to try making any attempt to gauge how much longer they could possibly stay in Sin Devil Trigger fighting for an extended period of time against another combatant with comparable stats trying to kill them.

The point is, Sin Devil Trigger isn't exactly six minutes but at the same time hasn't been held for as long as Clive has as Ifrit and Ifrit Risen in his fights in the game (seriously, those go on for quite a while). Their Regular Devil Trigger likely does last a great deal longer but then like, Clive would be stronger than Dante upon transforming into Ifrit Risen and growing stronger and faster via the Power of Friendship/Logos, means he would have the edge over Regular Devil Trigger Dante.

Super Dante Costume's abilities aren't a canonical thing like say, Solid Snake for some reason having infinite bullets via the Infinite Ammo Bandana which is acknowledged in actual cutscenes to be a real thing.

Dmc 5 left us on a cliff hanger with Nero’s power in a way saying he can become more powerful possibly rivaling Dante and Vergil or completely overpowering them so they can definitely come back with more but they also made the ending of dmc 5 to where it also a good time to stop making more so it can go either way
