It would be funny if all of chat just pretended he was progressing and when he checks the game at the end, he finds out he’s still in Cap Kingdom.

No hearing
No seeing
Chat only
Final Destination

I'm honestly more amazed at the fact that chat ordered him a pizza and it came out okay, like the trust there

33:33 this is too meta. Chat is controlling a streamer who is controlling a game that is controlling a plumber that is controlling a hat that is controlling a man that is controlling a car.   My brain hurts.

9:08 stop, ok, stopping.
It's nice how he doesn't even know how close to the edge he is, so he just reacts calmly haha

It's really interesting to see how over a couple hours they figure out much more efficient ways of communicating what he needs to do. Like how they go from saying directions like left or right to using analogue clock directions. Which allows for more directions and eliminates any confusion about direction that I think some of the chat had at the start. I think this was just as much a challenge to the people in the chat giving him directions as it was for him. Not to downplay the ability to memorise this game well enough to keep track of where you are mentally.

This guy was fed up of no new content so he created his own game.

TRUSTING TWITCH CHAT

How I beat mario odyssey using Alexa and a pokeball plus

Bowser: “haha, This plan is perfect! I have been planning this for years and nothing can stop me!”

Some blind deaf plumber: ”hey”

This is simultaneously captivating and heart warming. Experiencing the game how others experience life but your twitch community really came through.

I'm really surprised twitch chat let you use assist mode... Normally they enjoy watching people suffer

Can you imagine this was the most elaborate troll in gaming history and he was actually never making any progress at all and chat was just in a voice conversation trolling him

imagine if the chat was trolling you and you were stuck at cap the whole time

I would love to experience what he experienced during this run. Just imagine, you boot up the game, you're confused for a couple of hours as you fiddle with controls and look at chat, you plug in your TV, and boom, you're suddenly done.

Nobody:
Speedrunner: “I can do this with my eyes closed”
Smallant1: “Allow me to introduce myself”

This video embodies the concept of backseat gaming.
