My girlfriend just left me about 4 days ago and i'm having difficulty reconciling with it. All I keep thinking about is "maybe if I had just done this" "maybe in a different world" "maybe in another timeline" and I just can't anymore. I'm not giving up on life, God knows I don't want to and I know I will eventually move on but it just hurts y'know.

Maybe I just have too big and sensitive heart and that's why no one can love me the way I love someone else...

One month ago, I went through the deepest sadness I’ve ever felt in my short life. I’m 19 — turning 20 next month — and the girl I had been talking to for a year, the only girl I had actually liked, suddenly stopped talking to me. Let me give you some brief context.
I had never had a girlfriend before. The opportunity never came up, and I’ve always been very selective. At the end of last year, I saw a girl and decided to talk to her. We built a beautiful friendship, but the problem was that I didn’t approach her just to be friends — I liked her for something more. Two months later, I told her how I felt, and we stopped talking for four months. Those four months were terrible. I thought about her constantly and kept asking myself why no one ever chooses me.
After those months, I decided to speak to her again, this time telling her that I didn’t mind if we were just friends. Time went by, and eventually, I started liking her again. Everything she did affected me. Whenever she met new people, I felt anxious. I’ve had anxiety for more than five years, but during those days it was showing up harder than ever. Then she went out with a friend of mine, and that hit me really hard, especially because she used to give me excuses about why she couldn’t go out with me.
After I found out about that, I spoke to her. With a shaky voice, I told her how I felt and that I couldn’t handle it anymore. I told her she knew what I wanted with her, and if she only wanted a friendship, I preferred to distance myself because it was hurting me.
After that message, she replied saying she was really sorry. She said she had assumed I would “fall for her again,” but not so soon, and that she would step away too so she wouldn’t hurt me. Two or three days later, she messaged me again saying she wanted to talk about something important in person. I agreed — at that point, I had nothing to lose.
When we met, she told me that she felt a connection with me that she didn’t feel with others, and that she truly wanted to give it a try. I accepted, and even though I felt emotionally drained that day, I thanked God for the opportunity. That same day I didn’t want to kiss her or anything, because I wanted the moment of officially asking her to be my girlfriend to be special, somewhere else. So that day ended there.
The first two days after that were normal, but I didn’t feel happy. My anxiety was overwhelming — everything she did made me nervous. If she didn’t reply, I started overthinking that she might find someone else or lose interest. Then the third day came. She didn’t respond for nine hours, and then she gave me the excuse that she was “busy,” without explaining anything. Obviously, during those hours I overthought absolutely everything and felt horrible. I felt so bad that I didn’t respond to her at all that day. Instead, I booked an appointment with a general doctor to figure out why I felt like that.
Thursday and Friday came, and we barely talked. Those two days were the worst I’ve ever felt. My mind was burning out. I felt exhausted, empty, and with no will to live — not just because of her, but also because I felt like my entrepreneurship wasn’t working out, that it was going to fail, that I was useless, worthless, and that no one cared about me. I felt completely alone. She was the only person I could talk to, because I don’t even tell my family my problems.
Now imagine this: if she was the only person I trusted with my problems, and she wasn’t replying… you can imagine how I felt. On Friday night, I insisted that she say something — why wasn’t she responding? Had I done something wrong? And another thing: that same week, I had already planned a whole special place to ask her to be my girlfriend, but I wanted to talk to her first.
Then Sunday afternoon came, eight days after she had “given me a chance.” She sent me a message saying she couldn’t do it anymore. She said she was too busy to be with me, that she didn’t have time, and that she wanted to focus on her studies… so she preferred to walk away. I felt relief at first — she finally responded — but it wasn’t the message I wanted. I told her I understood, that I was sorry for not talking much those days, but that I felt really bad, that the doctor told me I had an anxiety disorder, that I truly wasn’t okay, that I didn’t even want to live. I told her I understood her, that I didn’t want to be a burden to her, that I wanted to be a support for her, someone she could rely on. But if that was her final decision, I respected it and wished her the best.
Nothing else happened after that. The next day — Monday — I went to her house because I wanted her to tell me things face-to-face. I wanted to know if she really didn’t want to try, not even a little. She told me the same things again, and that she thought that by giving me a chance, I would try to win her over, but that really broke me because I told her I didn’t know how to do that. I had never done it before because I’ve never had a girlfriend. I told her that if she stayed, I would learn how to do it, and I wouldn’t be a burden, but even those words weren’t enough. She said no — she couldn’t, she wanted to focus. So I gave her the bouquet of flowers I had brought, and I left heartbroken.
After that, nothing else happened. We haven’t spoken. But it still hurts. I really wanted her to be the one. I muted her everywhere so I wouldn’t see her content — even on WhatsApp — but every time she posts a status, I still check it because for some reason it gives me “hope” that maybe one day she’ll come back. And today, as I write this, I feel terrible because she just posted a picture with someone else (I don’t even know who he is) with hearts. That hurts. It makes me feel like she doesn’t think about me at all, like I’m nobody to her.
Anyway… I’m writing this mostly to let it all out. These videos with this kind of music make me feel better, and reading other people’s stories helps me stay sane. My anxiety still affects me a lot. I try to get better every day, but I feel like I’m not moving, like I won’t get better — even though I know that’s not true, and with God’s help, I will.
As for the situation with her, I don’t know what to do. I truly wanted her to be the one, and I still have hope that she’ll come back. I don’t know if that will happen or how I’d react, but I think about it every day, and it hurts because I want to be with her, yet I feel stuck because of these thoughts.
In the end, I know this may not be as serious as what other people go through, but for me, this was the worst month of my life — the month of October. These were the worst days I’ve ever lived so far.
Thank you for reading. I hope you overcome your problems, keep moving forward, and achieve everything you promise yourselves. ♥

To anyone reading this:
I know these times can be really hard. Maybe you’re going through something no one understands, or maybe you just feel empty and tired for no reason at all. Please remember, this moment won’t last forever. Better days will come, even if they feel far away right now.
You’ve made it through every single bad day before this one, and that’s something to be proud of. Even if no one sees your effort, even if you feel invisible, you’re still fighting, and that means something.
Take things one step at a time. Breathe. Rest. Cry if you need to. Healing isn’t quick, but it is real. And one day, you’ll look back and realize how strong you were for never giving up, even when your heart was heavy.
You’re not alone. There are people who care, even strangers like me who just want to remind you: you matter more than you think. ❤

It is exactly 3:34 a.m. I can’t sleep anymore, and I have to work at 8:00. I locked myself in my room again and started thinking about how I wish things had been different with her. It’s been almost two years. I miss her, but I don’t want her anymore; I miss who she used to be, because I don’t even know who she is today.
I feel like I’m the only one who lost, like I’m the only one who was left with the pain, the only one who kept the scars. Seeing her enter another relationship so quickly with a supposed “friend” was the situation that literally tore my soul apart. I had never felt so much pain as I did that day. Today the thoughts still hurt, but not like they hurt that day. Maybe now I’m a little more used to the pain, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t still hurt. It still makes me feel awful, still makes me feel worthless, still takes away my will for everything—especially my will to live.
Music calms my heart a little, but my mind is still restless. Sometimes I wish I could meet someone else, someone who could truly love me, someone who wouldn’t give up on me because of my mistakes, someone who wouldn’t replace me when they saw my flaws. But now I can’t believe in anyone anymore. Relationships scare me. Planning things with someone who could wake up the next day and change their mind about you is truly frightening.
I still tried to believe in love after her, but everything has proven to me that it really doesn’t exist anymore. The amount of money I spent on flowers and chocolates trying to win over a new girl, only for it always to end in the worst way… I’m a very intense guy, I give myself too easily, and that’s why people break me so easily. I really wish I hadn’t been born this way.
January and February have been horrible months. So much anguish, so much emptiness, so much anxiety, so many memories replaying in my mind… I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t feel like doing anything; I just want to stay silent. Maybe no one will read this, but I hope you never go through this, that you have a long and happy life, that you are loved and never replaced. God loves you. Thank you for reading this.

I wonder if you know how much I love you. I regret not spending more time with you. You are with someone else and are hesitant about your future. Part of me, a selfish part, the most selfish part... hopes that it doesn't work out... but that isn't right. I really just hope that you're happy. Your presence has brought me so much sweet pain. Though I will move far away from you, I have felt so much these past few months, and I am thankful to you... for you.

i love writing and remembering memories, so here are some of the things i remember from the past:
when I was a kid, my family used to gather together in our living room to watch the stars wars trilogy. every weekend we'd watch 1-2 movies in order. i used to make butter popcorn and my dad made chocolate popcorn because everytime i tried doing it, it always ended up burnt. anyways, we'd turn on the ac until it got really cold so mom would have to bring pillows and blankets for everyone. I remember I'd look out the big windows beside me and watch as it got dark. it was always at the end of evening, during the blue hour. eveything was blue, the skies, people, everything seemed to coexist with the silence around it. i remember hearing birds chirping outside our ac, building nests inside it, meanwhile I hugged both my baby yoda and wall-e plushie. we used to reflect on the story after the movies and mom always complained it was too boring and she'd always end up sleeping meanwhile it. dad and I used to love it. and when we weren't watching star wars, we'd watch classics: top gun, godzilla, world war z, back to the future, E.T.. you name it. dad and I always chose the movies. then we'd eat pizza or have some ice cream.
God, I miss that. we don't do that anymore. we still watch movies together but... there's just something missing. mom is always watching it meanwhile scrolling through instagram and dad works on the pc meanwhile it too. sometimes even I get distracted in pinterest. that... sparkle.. is gone. well, not totally but, its just... not the same.
I love nights, any type of night. gloomy night, angry night, happy night, everything becomes more alive and special during the night. i remember camp in my school campus with my friends. my friends invited their friends and their friends invited their other friends, and so did i... there were so many people having so much fun at the same time. i remember a church friend of mine got trapped in this car wheel swing hanged on a tree and instead of helping her, we just swung her around and then tried to run meanwhile it was still spinning to try to cross without being hit. one of my guy frinds got hit and he just flew away, it was so funny. we were high on energetics too, a bunch of kids laughing and playing hide and seek. i hid behind a tree with a friend of mine, and i sacrificed her so the "it" didn't see me there. she was sooo mad at me and i ran through the entire campus in like 15 seconds trying to escape from getting wet by a water bucket.
then there was prom night. gosh, i started getting ready like 2 weeks before it, made my "getting ready" playlist, watched prom movies, prom videos, everything. i daydreamed about it almost everynight when i wasnt dreaming about my crush. anyways, my granny, mom and i had to walk through the entireee town to find a dress and we found this absolutely gorgeous long, sparkly aquamarine dress that made me feel like a princess. i got ready and remember listening to my playlist during the car ride. that moment felt absolutely surreal. then when i got there, everything looked perfect. it was inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night, there were flowers and lights everywhere and everyone looked gorgeous. i remember looking at my crush and just dyiing to dance with him (ps- i didnt, and i was soo madd!!) but anyways. they said i was one of the prettiest girls and i truly felt like it, it was one of the few times i remember looking at myself in the mirror and feeling like the princess little me wanted to become in the future. we partied and danced, sang and took so many pictures. then we had this emotional moment between me and my closest friends outside in the garden. it had just rained and there was a predominant smell of fresh wet grass mixed with perfume and food. we cried so much on that day because half of class was moving to another school and my best friend's crush was moving so i remember comforting her meanwhile she almost vomitted from anxiety. she never confessed, nether did i. but my crush doesn't love me i believe, so i'm done crying for him too. i had to take her home and arrived at my house at 3 a.m.. the car ride back was so, so, so surreal. and i had also made a playlist for that too lol!! but anyways, i miss that night so much.
it's gonna rain now, purple hour and its getting late so i gotta finish studying. sorry for the big texts, bye!! stay safe <3

My boyfriend broke up with me yesterday, I'm so hurt by it. I don't know what I did wrong. But I loved him with all my heart, just seeing his beautiful brown eyes made my days better.. I think about all the memories we had together and how much we had in common. I miss him so much. I hope one day he'll come back, I just want to see those brown eyes one last time.
