I once had a hairdresser share everything about her life, and how she was struggling financially. There’s so much I can do, I would give her extra tip. I finally had enough of her pity party, and I realized she just wanted me to feel sorry for her just to give her extra money/tip. I never went back!

It's easy to feel like the 'whipping boy' if you ARE being a jerk. No one needs a hairdresser who can't stop talking smack.

I hate it when stylists end up using me as their therapy session. Makes me feel used, especially as I'm paying and expected to tip. If you want me to be your therapist, you should at least give me the haircut for free in exchange.

🤔
BETWEEN (5) OWNERS AND STAFF MEMBER TOO AND NOT ONE PERSON REALIZED THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE WINDOW IS THE WRONG NUMBER TO THE SALON??
😅

Isn't Tabatha stupendous? What a girl! 🎉

I had a therapist talk more about herself and family than I ever could talk about my past. People forget they have a job and their life off the clock should be on hold until then. 😂

Thank you so much janeece for teaching us what manipulation looks like.

I absolutely adore Tabitha. She knows exactly what it takes to run a business. Especially the industry. Talent and customer service. You checked those two boxes people will pay whatever you ask.

Jack should be paid a lot more than the other owners. Those owners are so disappointing. WHY DO ADULT HUMANS HAVE TO BE FORCED TO BE DECENT? JUST DISGUSTING! IT IS SO SAD AND GROTESQUE!

She did not get fired - she was an independent contractor who did not pay her rent.

I usually let the client dictate conversation
If they wish to be talkative or simply enjoying silence while having their hair done
Sometimes a client will tell you their most intimate secrets because you also become a therapist which comes with the territory of being a Hair Stylist  If they trust you with their Hair they will trust you with everything

Five owners and nobody even answers the phone and not one of them changes the out of service number on the window.. pretty awesome owners they are

$300/ week and that stylist owes $6000??? thats 20 weeks thats 5 months!!!

6k BEHIND. should have been booted after the 2nd missed payment

Jenise unfortunately admitted to being lazy, and that right there is a red flag, so I wouldn't trust her with anything requiring time management, finances, or pretty much anything requiring a deadline and a goal to met. She's a procrastinator, but only thinks of the present, the quick and easy, and puts off the hard stuff until later to deal with. Her attitude may be one she's had all of her life, or how she was raised. Who knows. I just hope she has found whatever motivates her and so that she can't tell others she's lazy. Be lazy at home on your own time, but be productive on company time.

Salon is still open

I’m grossed out. Glad I do my own hair cuts

Sorry folks but you will NOT receive a dime from Chanise. I doubt she is working some where else; her attitude and mouth will never change. Take her to Court ASAP; that's the ONLY way to recoup her unpaid rent.

I have been binge watching Tabitha ever since I discovered her. This is 2026 in Canada 🇨🇦. Now whenever I go to get my nails done or hair done I am looking to see about the cleansliness  etc. LOL

Sounds like a bunch of siblings and not one is the leader! 😮
