Why didn’t she just produce the death certificate

I can't BELIEVE none of the people who knew the FL didn't also know that her husband was dead.

Ridiculous none of the co workers knew her husband died 5 years earlier?

An entire building full of apartments and that man was obviously op’s husband because he came out of that building?

Ridiculous, the husband's death would have been apparent at disclosure.

Even if her husband wasn't dead, why would this woman think she would be entitled to HER money and not the husband's?

I am embarrassed to admit this... I can't believe I wasted any time on this ridiculous story.

This is a hilarious idiot story from the start. The accused man who had been dead for 5 year, means this should never have got into court.

All she had to do was request a DNA test done on the fetus. End of story. That and the death certificate would shut her down.

She could have blown the case out of the water after being served. All she had to do was to call a crime reporter from a local newspaper. The story would be on the front page above the fold. DEAD MAN SUED FOR CHILD SUPPORT. She could have saved time and the lawyer's fees. Instead, she wasted the court's, the jury's and the judge's time.

This should not even have made it to the court….
But the story does show there are bad greedy people out there that would do anything.

Why wasn't the person who let Mercer stay in the towers charged?

The husband's Death Certificate  should be at court during these proceedings . . .

Pre Natal Paternity test is possible at 10 weeks pregnancy.

Super intelligence at its best

A squatter would not have her car keys.

Why did the "victim" go to her apartment? She wasn't invited.

So she never called the police when " someone " allegedly assaulted her?  But she sued a woman for money because she might be the perpetrator’s spouse ? Yeah of course 😅
And what’s that " he defiled me and I won’t be able to marry after that " ....she still lives in the 1850s ? Or in some awful country where assault is never a man’s fault and where the police isn’t called because it isn’t even  a crime ? 😡

Even if her husband had gotten her pregnant, it wouldn't be her problem?

Three months pregnant and a visible bump come off it
