I obviously knew planes were big, but there's something about that shot with the tiny dude in front of the fence in the foreground and the plane still being bigger than the frame that really communicates the actual scale of it

What a glorious site watching it take off

I'm due to fly on one of these next month but I'm scared. My son-in-law told me the wings are made out of bacon that they paint white and if they get too hot they will droop and the plane will crash. I'm thinking about cancelling.

Im not some huge plane person but i would say the Concord and the A380 are 2 of my favourites
