French people in the comments : "My man Jim 😎😎😎"
Americans in the comments : "Who the hell is that guy? 😳😲🤯"

I love how the French comments are totally oblivious, praising Jim Carry, while the English ones are freaking out, saying this isn't him.

Either this is Jim Carrey or I just entered an alternate dimension where Jim Carrey is more French than a baguette.

„I’m not a person... I died a long time ago“

What throws me off is. I would never think he was the type of guy to get work done on his face.

Who’s here because they heard this wasn’t Jim Carrey?

Wow, il a fait l'effort d'apprendre par cœur un discours dans une langue qui n'est pas la sienne et s'est vraiment bien débrouillé! Chapeau l'artiste!

Jim once said, the next time you will see me with no beard, im dead.
Hmmm...

Translation: Good evening. Thank you very much. That's very kind. As an actor, every character you embody is like the clay of the sculptor that you shape into the form of your heart. How fortunate I have been to share this art with so many people who have offered me their hearts in return. About three years ago—no, about three hundred years ago—my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather François Marc François Carré—yes, Carré—left Saint-Malo in France for Canada. Later, I continued on to the stage. And tonight, with this magnificent honor, this Carré has come full circle. Perhaps that's what my family was searching for. I am Malouin! Thank you to the Academy, thank you to Canal Plus. Thank you to my good friend Michel Gondry, to Camille Cottin, Benjamin Lavernhe—all so wonderful, wonderful, incredible. Thank you Grégory Coller and all the masters of this craft who have stood here before me. Thank you to my wonderful family, to my daughter Jane and Jackson. I love you. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion Mina. I love you, Mina. You are an angel. And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: Percy Joseph Carey, who taught me the value of love, of generosity, and of laughter. If you want fortune to smile on you, it is very difficult, but we must try, try, try always. Cherish this memory. I will always smile at this memory. My life is paradise. So, how was my French? Almost mediocre. No, forgive me, I don't speak great French, but I'm just learning it. My tongue is tired. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.

Looks like someone tried to draw Jim Carrey from memory
