“I agreed to be a sister wife, but I agreed to be an equal.”
-Christine

"I still dont know what the work he does is." Best. Line. Ever. Thank you Gwen, for saying what I/we (the viewers) think as well!

I appreciate that you acknowledged that Meri started this family and got the short end of the stick. I know she wasn't perfect but as the only one with one child who gave up her legal marriage she sacrificed a lot to be disposed of like that.

So, it was ok for Robyn to divorce but it's the worst possible thing for Christine? Why was it ok for her to take the kids and leave a bad marriage but it's not ok for Christine?
Robyn sounds just a littttttle hypocritical.
Shocker.

Take care of yourself, Gwen. Don't continue the recaps if it starts to really mess with your mental health. Because it gets worse as the season goes on 😬.  We'll still love you.

Gwen’s face when she realized robyn needs meri’s income 😮

I was so happy to see Christine’s recent “car confession” about being in an exclusive relationship with an amazing guy! No one deserves it more than her!

He has an emotional attachment to Christine's income

The audacity of him wanting 50 percent of the assets when him and Robin took "family money" for themselves for years while living in a million dollar home and hiring a nanny, while the others lived in smaller houses and travel trailers.

I think lots of people believe that Christine, Janelle and Mary bring most of the money into the family, Robyn came in with tons of debt and has a defunct business that cost the family a lot of money.

"I still don't know what the work he does is." That made me LOL

I really think the one person who failed in plural marriage is Kody. It comes up so many times across all 17 seasons: Kody blames his wives for feeling jealous and gets angry at them for it. He continuously fails to be sympathetic, even after admitting in Season 1 that he would feel jealous if the roles were reversed. These 4 women are strong, dedicated, and stubborn! With a different man, I think they could have flourished under plural marriage.

I hope you read this. Remember that Robyn said explicitly in this episode that she noticed the unhappiness quite a while ago.
This will come up again and will give a real insight to the kind of person Robyn appears to be to the viewers.

Christine is such a class act! I'm loving her confidence & self love now, without becoming proud or unbalanced. She's the perfect example of loving your children more than hating your ex.

I’m sorry but Kody and Robyn have sabotaged every relationship. Robyn has exactly what she wanted!

Truely is thriving from what I have seen. I like her Wicked brand clothing, her blue hair and her rolling her eyes when Christine and Ysabel do silly stuff. She was born on camera for heavens sake and knew nothing other than being followed by a camera crew, now she can see a better life that she did not know existed and she looks like a normal sometimes grumpy teen! I hope she stays in charge of her visits to Kody and only goes if she wants to go.

Robin doesn't care about your mom or her happiness. She sees her as just an accessory to her life and dream. Same with her wanting Meri to stay, humiliated and alone. That is not being "all heart and a kind person," which Robin claims to be. If one cares about someone, or at least values their life, they should want them to have happiness and to live their life with joy and love.

Kody was TOTALLY making up the thing about a child being a ward of the state if there is no custody order, and yes, I'm a lawyer.

I have a hard time with Robyn's thought process of Christine "ruining" what Robyn wants and her "vision for the future". There's no consideration for what Christine needs are.  If she loved Christine, and wants this to be good between them, like she claims she'd understand that her personal feelings need to be put aside to support Christine's needs. She was unhappy, she was hurt, she wanted more and that's okay to want more and want growth and want someone to grow with.  I understand Robyn was hurt, changing family situations is hard and it effects everyone,  but thinking someone should stay in a continual emotionally unresolved painful situation,  where it's clear there will be no resolve, just so your feelings aren't hurt, is cruel.

You can see in her eyes how much she loves her mom and sisters.
