I think that’s a good looking bike.  Looks like a comfortable, practical rider too.

I’ve understood that Brooks are best a bit nose up. sweet bike!

I like the color combos myself. The orange pedals and stem add a little pop to the bike. Nice job.

I think it looks wicked. My first bike was a BMX with bright red wheels and matching hand grips and random padding, no one does padding anymore on BMX's, half the weight of the bike was red foam padding. The 1980's were the best no one knew what we were doing and no one told us it was wrong now everyone is wrong all of the time for some reason.

You should start your brake adjustment by bringing in or bottoming out your barrel adjusters. It gives you room to fine tune your brakes for pad wear or cable stretch.

Nice ride!👍🏼🍻💯

Those one-bold seat posts are a pain.  Two bolts for the fine tuning and the win!  If you like grey Ultradynamico tires, they now come in a much-more durable casing option.

'80s BMX kid? I was and I have colored tires on all my bikes today, which I blame on growing up where colored tires were cool and came on bikes I couldn't afford (though one bike is a 1912 with wood wheels, so I got period-looking cream—which aged to tan—to draw attention to it being old). It's dumb because carbon black adds grip and longevity and black tires are, of course, easier to find with greater variety of options, but they make me happy. I have several of those limited edition Panaracers in different colors and I've had good luck with them, though I've been hitting them with rubber preserver every year to try to stave off age cracking after noticing some fairly early minor cracking starting on the olive green and tan I have on a WW2 tribute bike.

Mate! You are me....30 years ago. Keep making mistakes and rolling with it.
