Today I'm playing with Distress Inks and Distress Oxides on the gel plate, creating textures and landscapes. The autumnal colours are starting to show up on the craft table too!

As a baby-new beginner to crafting, and retired music teacher, I really wasn’t sure how to use the many craft supplies I inherited, so thank you for this lesson. It’s a delight to see people so enthusiastic about inking and the beautiful colours available.

I have struggled with the gel plate I never seem to get the look I want. Watching your video has given me so many more ideas and the confidence to try different ideas. Thank you Alison for sharing your talent.❤️

Love the moody seashore vibes on many of your prints, I can see those little plover type birds running around on some of these!

The gel plate is one of my very favourite tools, it is addictive as is watching someone else pull prints! I especially love the Turner-ish ones you pulled today! Glorious, very inspiring!💕🇨🇦

I listened. Didn't see a lot but liestened to you playing. And how you were playing. You did it in the purest way. Though English is not my native language and I focused on my own crafting I enjoyed it so much how amazed you were about the results. I enjoyed how easy you juggled all the inks and oxides. Last time I experienced someone having so much pure fun with bringing colour onto paper was with Bob Ross. This was so refreshing between all that negativity in the news and comment sections. 45 minutes well spent.

I do not even have a gel plate.

I absolutely love gel plating, and embarrassingly admit to having too many plates!😆 Gel plates, paper, music and presto a wonderful day! I know what I’ll be doing Sunday! Thanks for this wonderful video! That subtle print would be a great background for a map! Just wow!❤

Stunning prints! Been playing with my new Infusions tonight and now I want to take out my gel plate, but I need my beauty sleep too so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Turner is one of my favourite artists. 😊❤👍

It's Spring here in Australia & the roses have new shoots and the deciduous trees are getting new leaves and I think the wattles are blooming. So a very Aussie spring with greens & yellows. I love your blues & browns though. Ilove to add purple in to Autumn colours as you often see it in the beautiful colours of the leaves. Thanks for the video, Alison ❤
