Tomorrow (Proverbs 27:1) - Charles Spurgeon Sermon
Spurgeon Sermon Series

A sermon delivered by C.H. Spurgeon, Monday afternoon August 25th 1856.
Christian teachers have, for centuries, tried to help us to grasp the importance of Today. We have no certainty of tomorrow. Yet, however hard they have laboured, we still find ourselves worring about days to come, which we may never see on earth. Spurgeon seeks in this sermon to end this once and for all. Whether we think of tomorrow with longing, or with fear, we must serve God in the here and now.

Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the Lord God has made we will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen.
Ecclesiastes 5:5. "Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay"
While this adage in reference to climate of today in the 21st century it can also in some small sense have reference to our spiritual life. And particularly for those of us who have have been derelict for much of our lives
