That phone case Sitong gave to Ayden is a huge deal. The significance behind it is immense. Pretty much everyone knows the story behind Double Helix Casting of the main leads. Ayden only chose the project after seeing Sitong's portfolio. Flew all the way to China. Sitong was asked to play as both the Xiao Chens. He however was in the end, chosen to be Lu Feng's Xiao Chen. He did not have any Chemistry with the other actor. Only with Ayden. And Ayden was PISSED that he was made to play the other Xiao Chen lol. Indeed he was born to play Lu Feng's Xiao Chen. Ayden even gave Sitong the name Elio. It's from the movie, Call me by your name. A famous Western gay movie. Before this, Sitong did not have an English nickname.

Sitong presenting him with the phone case, that looks like the character he played, Lu Feng's Xiao Chen, is him letting Ayden and the world know that, he is Lu Feng's Xiao Chen. And in real life, he belongs to Ayden. Ayden was sad that he was asked to play a scene with the other actor. With this, he will be more assured that Sitong is happy to have played as his Lu Feng's Xiao Chen. I bet Ayden is gonna take precious care of that phone case! It's a reminder that Sitong chose to play as his co-lead. He's absolutely thrilled with that gift. In terms of sentiment value, it's priceless due to the message it conveys. Ayden once asked Sitong in a video, whether Xiao Chen hates Lu Feng. He asked in a tone which made it clear to the listeners and viewers, that he was afraid of the answer. Sitong's answer was "Never. Xiao Chen never hated Lu Feng. He loved him" Ayden had the biggest smile on his face hearing that. These two are for real. Even in the recent Weibo Event, they both disregarded the rules and sat with each other. The only on-screen couple that broke the seating rules.
