The hunt is never over, but this time we won't be using our regular hunting license. While Lily is not the best at monster designs, she certainly knows about monsters in general when it comes to... love.

Lily channels her inner Guildmarm for 30 minutes circa. February 2026

@Lenny_MidKnight 8 months ago

Guildmarm would be proud of the pink thing

Nobody tell her about Nargacuga

Everyone's a "Monster Hugger" till the Monster looks like a real MONSTER...

One thing about Jin dahaad. It might be cold outside, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's warm on the inside. Have you seen it's nova attack? Those metal ridges turn red hot.

Someone warn Lily, Gore megala is jail bait!😅

12:32 ok so the reason why chat is calling this dude Steve is actually pretty funny. Seregios (ser-re-gi-os) was the flagship (basically the monster on the box art of the game) for 4 Ultimate. When the game was being showed off, seregios actually made an unexpected appearance during the hunt, so to keep the secret of the monster’s name, the NA presenter just called him “Steve” as a cover up. Eventually the nickname stuck with him

@Demous_Abyss 8 months ago

I don't know if anyone explained it properly for you but Seregios is called steve because in the run up to MH4U they weren't able to say names for a while so he was referred to as steve by one of the communjty managers before they were properly announced

2 minutes in and she's calling Congalala the DeviantArt monster. She doesn't know about Zamtrios

I will continue to defend Lagiacrus over Rathalos. This is the hill I die on. Or the wave. 🌊⚡️

Monster Hunter has mastered the art of designing creatures. They look so good that you can't help but want mercilessly beat them to death with giant weapons and wear their skin as a soon as possible.

30:00 he's a living heat sync, HE'D be warm, in fact, he'd probably be the warmest thing in the room at all times since he literally pulls the heat in.

I think human Arkveld would have the physique of GoW Thor

I am always entertained when people compare Blangonga (and to a lesser degree Congalala) to "ugly bastards", because that resemblance is literally just familial. Fat reserves being primarily on the abdomen, muscular, developed forearms, thick and prominent hairgrowth, male pattern baldness, those are all just traits you'll find in older male primates, such as the ones that inspired the monkey-like Fanged Beasts and, you guessed it, humans.
