Johnny’s end is either Rockstar playing god with their world, or it’s a scary, real display of how bad drugs can absolutely ruin you

Not only did Rockstar did Johnny dirty, they also destroyed the Lost and turned them into a random gang filled with idiots and generic enemies for killing only to create Trevor. I don't care if Trevor ended up being a great protagonist, they completely ruined a great gang and a great protegonist just for a couple of missions.

Rockstar did him dirty by making him go back to Ashley

Finally someone made something for Johnny. He was the best.

I'm still mad at how Rockstar ended Johnny's story in GTA5, got back with his ex - who was causing problems for him previously and she cheats on him again with Trevor. Yet Johnny ends up being killed by Trevor, he deserved much better than that.

The worst decision Rockstar ever made was to let Johnny go out like that.

Getting back with Ashley, addicted to meth and just make him slowly deteriorate to nothing when expected him to go out in a better way but then again this is a showing that drugs can destroy you inside and out.

All Trevor has done is put him out of his misery

That downfall is almost a retcon with how out of character he is

His inclusion in GTA V made 0 sense.
First, The Lost were under federal investigation, they had to end Billy inside prison because he wad gonna testify against them, they then burnt their clubhouse and disbanded.
Second, He refused to lend Ashley money and cut relationships with her, knowing she'd use it for drugs.

Johnny getting done in like that was my initial sign that Rockstar didn't give a fuck about IV. Online only proved it further.

The character assassination of Johnny Klebitz in GTA5 is the biggest lowblow GTA has ever done

The story even beats Johnny after he's dead. On the mission were Trevor blows up the Lost trucks before going to Los Santos the bikers talk ill about Johnny, saying that he never was a real leader and that Billy was better, not believing that he was the traitor

Johnny's biggest problem simply was, he was the good guy of the villians. Yes he was a criminal, but his loyalty and kindness. Ended up sending him on a downward spiral.

Johnny K died so unceremoniously... begging for clemency in his final moment of life. It's jarring how out of character that is for him. Johnny had pride. A foolish amount of it. He had spent years crafting an image of unquestioned leadership within The Lost MC. Johnny's breaking into a federal prison to kill his former chapter president further proves this point.

Johnny Klebitz was not someone to be f*cked with. Just like Trevor, he was an angry outlaw and at times, Johnny was unpredictable despite how unassuming the man was. The real Johnny would've drawn a gun on Trevor Phillips... at the very least he would've taken a swing at him. He wouldn't allow himself to die like a dog with its tail between its legs. Johnny would fight, and probably fight dirty. Sure, he'd most likely lose, but he wouldn't allow his reputation to be dragged through the f*cking dirt.

Everything in TLaD pointed in the opposite direction of the man Johnny Klebitz became in GTA V. Most of all, Ashley. Johnny cut off all ties to that crank-head at the end of the game. He considered her a truly lost cause and vowed never to care for or about her ever again. The Ash-angle was the main crux of all my gripes. Johnny was no saint, hell, he might've been damned... but Ashley? In Johnny's eyes, she was forever condemned.

If Johnny were to die in the story, he would go out with a gun in his hand and a chopper under his ass. Any other way... Just feels like poor fan fiction.

Honesty, as sad and unsatisfying as it was, the way Johnny's story ended in GT5 makes a scarry amount of sense.
His life throughout 4 was a downward spiral with little chance of recovery.

The VA for Billy is underrated.

Johhny died after the burning of their hangout in Lost of the damned, what left of him in Gta V is a hollow husk after being betrayed many times by his friends and his lover.

Trevor might actually give him what he wanted, to rest from those things that worn him.

Johnny is my favorite GTA character of all time. His game [dlc] was extremely fun, and Johnny himself was a good guy despite it all. I screamed at my tv in shock and despair when I first saw what Trevor did him. A cruel and unfair joke what Rockstar did.
