Join me for a solo camping trip by the river in my tiny raised tent! I’m setting up beside the water, cooking over a campfire and settling in for a peaceful night outdoors. The weather stays dry overnight, but by morning, heavy rain has arrived! 🌧️🏕️

Get cosy and enjoy the river sounds, crackling campfire and rain on the tent. If you enjoyed coming along, give the video a like and subscribe for more solo camping adventures!

Perfect way to chill out on a Sunday afternoon while watchin a new video. Glad you didn't forget the poles for the tent this time!

The autumn camp is so much cosier than long hot summer ones we had. Def time for some ghost stories around the fire now. 🔥👻😃

I’m so happy you didn’t forget anything and had a great time. You never show the cleaning up of dishes etc… 😅 You have an infectious positive attitude. Thanks for putting out your videos they are really fun to watch because of your enthusiasm. You are really living.

I love that tent! Awesome piece of kit! Suggestion: take a small spirit level with you, the type that builders use on a string, and use your trowel to dig out for the legs and make your tent level. Yep! Works well even in river rock.

If you smear soap on the outside of pans used on wood fires, it makes cleaning them afterwards a lot easier.

Dead chuffed that you don't do those 1 minute previews at the start now 🥰

Great video Katie 🙌🏼You should be very careful camping on a small rock shaw like that, if it rains during the night and the water level rises you could be taken downstream😱might sound a little too cautious but honest that water soon rises in Scotland with all the tributaries leading into the rivers 🙏🏼

Hi Katie, I just want to say that you are an inspiration to many of us. I love the fact that you are redoing your adventure after forgetting the poles. I am addicted to o your channel, it's relaxing, informative and entertaining. The places you visit, your kit, your enthusiasm shines through. Thank you for making life a little bit better at the moment, given everything that is going on. You are a legend.

... another overnight completed in the bush .... well done Katie .. Use your water bottle to check a level sleep site ,, lay it end to end on the cot and on the ends ,, scratch out the high sides ,, easy , peasy ...... A flaming campfire is to give light ,, warm the body ,, dry wet clothes and create an ease of safety and deter bugs ,,, when you want to cook , wait until it's down to coals and gives a directed heat to cook over ..... to make clean up easier , wipe a coating of dish soap on the outsides of pots and pans ,, will prevent the soot from sticking and wipe off easily ... your meals are awesome .. look so good ...stay safe ....

This is my kind of outdoor adventure! 🌿🏕 There's something special about solo camping where you can slow down, enjoy the scenery, and appreciate the little things that often get overlooked in everyday life. The raised tent beside the river is such an interesting idea, and the natural surroundings make the whole scene look incredible. 🌊🔥 I could spend hours listening to the flowing water and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Stay safe out there, and keep bringing us more relaxing camping videos! Who else would love to spend a night here? 👇

One thing about fires. Stock up on sticks and wood lying around before you start the fire. A decent fire will burn a lot of wood - but it will glow beautifully warm until the early hours. Once a fire is going strong, you can put anything on it. Hardwood lasts a lot longer than pine. And use sticks rather than splitting logs. They are lying around everywhere in woodland. Use them. Take it from a woodsman who has lit a million fires. :) Great video series. Seen them all. My hat is off to you. Total admiration.
