I've always been a decent drawer but really struggle to draw from imagination. I can honestly say your videos have helped so much.

My son , who is 7, is getting into drawing and he is much better than I was at that age. I'm passing over little tricks to him and it's so cool watching him get better and better. Thank you for helping me help him.

Very interesting video. I mostly draw metal band logos with pens for my own projects but I've been doing a few pen sketches for album cover artwork I'm buying and it's been really fun for me to just see what happens with those since the moment I started. I'm thinking about making more drawings to add to my portfolio now that every logo design I worked on in the last several years worked out really well. I don't have that much practice with doing anything else even though I've been drawing for 24 years but I always want to get better with time

I usually use a kneaded eraser to pull away soft light, and elastomer erasers for specular reflections at the end of a drawing during the polishing stage, but most of the time I'm additive with the graphite and using a lot of layers. I've been trying to teach layering to my students but one thing that many of them don't have is patience...Patience and discipline is CRUCIAL. Also your sketch reminds me of the Terror Dogs from Ghostbusters...maybe a young one who's cranial mass and horns are still in the process of developing, becoming an Alpha in its final stage.

Might sound weird but the creature looks kind of sad like a hellhound that's just been battling for a long time and it's looking at someone with innocence still. Kind of like a large dog that's been used in dog fights who just fights to survive because it's all it knows.

I just realised lately that one of my favourite books that I got as a teen for christmas (masters of sketching) features you Bobby 😂 I've been watching and drawing to your videos for a while now and never realised lol I'm so stupidly blind but always honoured to get to see those videos of yours and real tips. I would love to see a short video about posture and hand placement - I have been watching your videos and drawing for several years now but unfortunately I still need to put down a piece of clean paper under my hand when I draw so I don't smear or get hand oil on my drawing, and would instead love to know how to position my hand so I don't touch the paper.

I feel like looking up the 100 yard stare and looking at some photos of war. Its not that they are void of emotion, its because some is uncanny about them these people arent looking at you its more like there looking through you. In general just a different perspective on drawing the human body
