Great playthrough. Well done.

idk man, if a dude got chomped in front of me by something that scurried into a vent I'm getting tf out there

Awesome playthrough!💪🏻 Thank you! I haven't played mine yet, but excited to start!

Thanks for this playthrough as i was confused about setup etc...i cant wait to play now

I just got this set and was a bit confused about how to play since it has special rules from the base game. But after watching this playthrough, everything made so much more sense. Thanks for the playthrough🙌🏻

Thanks for the video. Into the void is a great feature. i like the Alin playstyle a lot because its so different. That being said the USS Konrad can feel a bit too much in ur fvour at times with so many ways to insta kill the killer

At the end, say it with me now, with enthusiasm instead of dread, "Game over, man!"

I got this feature yesterday and played it last night. The first game ended quickly. It was one of those where I got a couple of zero success roles at times when I was going for focus, and then got some unlucky terror/ambush cards, which led to a lot of victim deaths, which spiraled into the horror level going red and the bloodlust maxing out. The end came once the finale card turned out to be the blitz, which was a target/move/attack x2. I couldn't get enough defense cards to save myself. Also I couldn't get any effective weapons or super helpful items.

Since that game (over, man!) ended quickly, I set up a new game, this time playing with Ellen. This time it went the other way. I saved all but two victims, the horror/ambush cards were relatively unproblematic, and I used Ripley's ... I mean, Ellen's special ability to find the super loader key. Once I got that, I headed over and armed the furnace. I used the super loader and some powerful attack cards to bring the Alien ... I mean the Evomorph down to its final health. Then I waited for it in the furnace and its last heart token was blank.

I have trouble interpreting Ellen's special power. It says "When successfully revealing a Search Action card, you may choose to freely look through all of the Location's unused Item cards instead of the space's item deck." Two problems: do you need a search to give you a double success level because that's the only result that allows anything like a search. The items suggests the success must allow some level of search (like looking at the top two cards) in order to substitute her power.  Getting just one success does not give you any search option, just take the top card. The second question is what get's searched. To me, the "Location's unused item cards" means the cards left over after the initial filling of the item piles (6 items). In this case "Location" refers to the USS Konrad, not the specific room of that setting.    Or does "location" refer to the particular room being searched and the "unused item cards" those that have not yet been taken?  That would seem to be the "Space's Item deck" which is specifically ruled out by the wording of the power.

One last suggestion: the plastic miniatures are cool, but on camera, it's hard to tell which is the Final Girl and which is the Killer. It's easier to tell if you use the original purple and red large meeple token.

Another great playthrough! Super Exciting!

Wow this was amazing! 😂

evomorph and uss knrad sound very like xenomorph or uss. enterprise. (i wonder is it allowed)

You should use the series 2 playmat. The game looks so much better with that.

😊 you only need 6 victims for tier 3 dice, 4 for tier 1, 1 for tier 2 and 1 for tier 3 😊

Can't believe nobody noticed or said anything. The super loader says you can't use search cards, and the very next thing he does is take the loader to somewhere he can search. He shouldn't have had three key cards, so he shouldn't have been able to use the airlock. Ironically, if he'd stuck to the cinematic use of the maintenance shafts and left the loader behind, he could have just climbed back into it. So, not a big infraction, but it took me out of the narrative.

Great stuff, but I disagree with your assessment of Ellen's ultimate vs. the ultimate search die. With the die, you get to look at maximum 3 cards, and that's only if you roll well with the ultimate die AND roll two successes on the regular dice. It could do nothing at all. Ellen's ability always lets you look at 4 cards (more in other scenarios), even if you only get one success. That's strictly better. Not to mention that her ultimate ensures you'll get the Super Loader's keys one way or the other (it's designed with that in mind, since it may happen that the keys are among the items left out of the game but Ellen can still retrieve them).

at 0:48 seconds - why the hell does your Alien: Fate of Nostromo on the shelf, move in the background???

At 25.30 does maintenance shaft need to place a keycard keycard before moving through?

Where do you get those Ulitmate dice??

Wow, that's really blurry. Recorded with first gen iphone?

I enjoyed this one. Sound effects are still annoying. Everything else was great.
