katseye has a new song called gabriela (with a mv) coming out tonight!

From my knowledge, none of them had solo careers. Manon (22) the caramel-skinned girl with the braids did modeling, went viral on Pinterest, and appeared in some music videos, Megan (19) the girl with orange/reddish hair appeared on Disney’s Raven’s Home and was in dance, Lara (19) the one you said you liked with the red hair was singing before auditioning for the group and is super talented  (her sister is also a singer), Daniela (20) has been dancing since she was a kid and appeared on Americas Got Talent, Yoonchae is the youngest of the group (17). She's the Korean girl with brown hair and she was also a dancer. And then Sophia the one with black hair who is the oldest (22, she and Manon) and has been singing since she was young. When auditioning for the group in the first challenge they were split up into groups by their talent, singing or dancing but in the end they learned both sides which was challenging since some of them never really did singing and some never did dancing before coming on the show. (not to the level of the show expectations)

their song debut was used in commercials. thats why you might have heard it

GABRIELA BY KATSEYE NEXT PLEAAAASSSE

They were all in a competition to join the group and picked from different backgrounds. There is a Netflix Documentary series showing everything.

1000s of girls basically had to audition to get into the group Hybe was creating, Katseye. They narrowed it down and the girls went through a 3 month program where they bettered their skills (there were like 20+ I think). They learned singing/dancing and did performances where the judges would vote who did the best and who they thought got better (fans were also allowed to vote). They’d vote out who they thought needed too much time to improve or who wasn't improving and in the end it got narrowed down to 10 girls and then the 6 you see now. There’s a whole Netflix show on it. I probably left out some things bc I watched the youtube version and not the Netflix version but I wasn't aware that it was on Netflix until it was too late 😅. Their performances are on youtube if you want to react to them. They've definitely all grown a lot

So katseye came about with 2 companies in the pop industry (hybe & Geffen labels) about 3-4 years ago they hold an audition to create a 6 people global girl group..For 2 years 20 contestants from all over the world trained in a kpop methology..and finally came out to the world and let people know about the new project the labels have kept a secret..after 3 missions that decides who get eliminated (decided by fans and judges). 10 contestants were left and after they're last appearance as 10 people on a stage...the 6 people got picked...and that happened over a year ago...(Ps: I'm kinda still new so can't give much info)
