Ian Dury very much under appreciated here in the States.  I've loved him from the late 70s.  What a character, and the world is a colder place without 'im.

I discovered Ian Dury and the block heads a couple months ago at most, and have been listening to their music every day ever since. My 4 year old girl’s new favourite song is hit me with your rhythm stick. We dance to that song every single day. It’s by far the best part of my day and what I look forward to the most. I absolutely adore Ian and the blockheads, and the music they have blessed us with.

I saw Ian at Hammersmith in 1979 on the 'Do it yourself' tour, when I was 15. It was  one of the best gigs I've ever been to, fantastic!

Spent many school days singing to New Boots & Panties album.I still play Ian's songs now.What a top man.He just wrote fantastic songs about real life.....A supreme Talent

I met l lan dury he came to my disabled school several times in South London back in the 1970s what a great man he was one of the best. Nice one
