Dragging out the bug type is interesting when we all knew it was going to be Volcarona.

I love how the arguments for why they should be Legendary are either "based on myth" and/or "big hair"

27:14 Shoutouts to that guy that bred a bunch of Lapras, and released them into the wild.

13:43 I HAVE A THEORY!!! Hisuian Arcanine caused the fire because the original 3 didn’t want him to join the team!

I feel like Aegislash could work as a legendary steel type it has a unique mechanic and the lore that the last king who had an aegislash had his kingdom ruined by its ghostiness or whatever it is the average ghost types do

I'm surprised you didn't choose Ninetales as the fire legendary. I mean, come on, it's got both the myths and the big hair (I guess Hisuian Arcanine has both of those too, but I just feel like Ninetales would've fit better)

12:08 don't worry Lucario. You'll always be legendary to me

4:00 A little thing I'd like to point out is that Volcarona has 6 fire-shaped wing pieces. The Sioux indigenous peoples refer to themselves as the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, or 'Seven Council Fires'. Volcarona's body also looks a bit like a fire symbol too. However, alternatively, I could see it getting an evolution that makes it have a 7th flame. Larvesta has 5 little flame-like spikes, Volcarona has 6, and an evolution could have 7. Due to this significance of 7 fires being important to the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, that's a further way to make a legendary Pokémon. The region in which these people have lived in also isn't too far from Unova, and would probably make for a great open-world game as its emptiness would actually be accurate.

Side thing, in one of their nations there is a spirit of the sun, generally called Wi, though as that can refer to both him and his partner he's also called Anpetu Wi, meaning "Daylight Wi". From this, and the name for the natural order "Lepidoptera" which moths are in, I would call this evolution "Anpetera".

bro won't let rotom be a legend because it's too common in later gens, but makes up a whole alternate universe for togetic to make an argument for it to be legendary

Steelix does have some sort of legend to back it up:

"It is said that if an Onix lives for over 100 years, its composition changes to become diamond-like." That's from the SIlver pokedex entry for Steelix and is reminicent of the legendary connection between Carbink and Diancie

When you talked about Gyarados, I'm surprised you didn't mention Milotic. Milotic is often considered similarly to Gyarados, as both of them evolve from weaker fish into serpentine creatures. Milotic is somewhat the opposite of Gyarados personality wise, with Gyarados being aggressive and brash, while Milotic is calm and serene, so that does go against it for "meanness," as you will. However, Feebas and Milotic are really hard to find, used mostly by strong gym leaders or champions at most, and most importantly, Milotic has, say it with me, BIG HAIR! While I'm admittedly biased because Milotic is my favorite Water type, these factors would definitely fit it well towards being a legendary.

28:45 "Say it with me now, BIG! HAIR!!!! 😂😂😂

21:00 You had the chance to make Castform legendary, and you blew it! It even can be multiple types, like Arceus!!

Kingdra is like PRIME material for a legendary. It creates tornados simply by swimming and makes whirlpools every time it yawns, lives in depths no other water pokemon can survive, its scales are seen as gifts to royalty and it has legends of it only coming out during storms to hunt for prey.

9:44 That Chicken Little reference was hilariously good

I think that mimikyu would work as a really good ghost type. Imagine if it was less obtainable and you could only get it if you venture into the deepest part of a cave or something. Finding something that looks like Pikachu but is so obviously wrong, and having there be legends that say if you look under its disguise you go mad would make for some amazing lore.

Haxorus not even getting a mention for Dragons is an absolute shame

Togekiss definitely fits as a legendary better, it's PLA entry states it's unbelivably rare to find and only appears during times of peace. Also it fells like it belongs much closer to the Latis in terms of looks wich are also similar

I would love it if Shedinja were to be a legendary insect.

They could do the same evolution, but if it changed to "if nincada were to faint while it had maximum friendship." Essentially, it uses the power of friendship to come back from the grave to protect the trainer.

I think it would make for a good story, if not a sad one.
