Very good pronunciation of Nowa Ruda indeed. Greetings from Poland!

The opening Bach piece is a classic - I love how the opening stops seem to make this instrument being kms apart. Bravo Richard.

Schlag & Söhne was a Prussian organ-building firm that originated and primarily operated in the Prussian Provinces east of the River Oder—such as here in Silesia. Its style was German Romantic. The firm's significance is evident from the fact that it was one of five organ builders in 1912 invited to submit a proposal for the then new local church in Dudelange, Luxembourg. After 1945, these formerly Prussian territories became part of Poland; the Poles now maintain this inherited cultural heritage—and, as can be seen and heard, they do so admirably. Thanks for the Music…

I actually saw the start today - and promptly got sidetracked by my youngest son in Paris video calling me.  By the time he was done, so was BIS.  Then I saw the Nala post and wondered what that was all about.  I just assumed she was up to her usual mischief.  lol

So grateful these videos all stay up online so I can now end my evening with beautiful music on this apparently gorgeous Polish organ!  Looking forward to catching everyone tomorrow live for BIS.

:_bisLovebis:😊:_bisLovebis: nothing but BiS

So cats aren't my thing really, BUT that cat has a metronome or perhaps a conductor's baton for a tail. Watch from the pedals cam in the first of the Four Sketches of the Schumann at around 14:52.
A beautiful program on another gem of a sample set from Piotr Grabowski. Thank you Richard and Piotr. 👋👋👋

You clearly enjoy what you do.

Nice, I enjoyed this 🌹🥇🌹
Now give me a rag and some polish so I can get busy on that dusty air box. Sorry, my OCD kicks in every now and then.

Bobby is so cute. 😻
