Constitutional Court (MK) Justice Arsul Sani grilled education expert Ina Liem about the certainty of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's study abroad. The incident occurred during a follow-up hearing on the general election results dispute (PHPU) regarding Gibran's education requirements on Thursday (October 1, 2026).
Arsul then questioned Gibran's study period at Orchid School Singapore, which lasted only two years. He understands that the O-Level program should ideally be completed in four years. He also questioned whether this relatively short study period could result in the issuance of a Certificate (Suket) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) equating Gibran's education to a Vocational High School (SMK) level.
