she literally asked for like 10 minutes worth of chores from her husband and the incels are acting like it’s the end of the world lmaooo

The fact that people are mad at her for wanting to be respected and treated equal by her husband is a good example of how fucked up the internet is

Married guy with two babies here. What these single, childless losers don't understand, is that while a blue-collar job usually is harder on the body, the combination of mental and physical exhaustion my wife gets from taking care of the kids while I'm working is something I never expected beforehand.

See, if you're at the construction site, you clock in and clock out, but when you get home your time is yours. When you're a full time, focused parent, there is no clock, only awake time and asleep time. Until you've experienced it, you don't know what it's like to have to be switched on during every waking hour, to try and juggle the organisation of washing, cleaning, dressing, feeding, cooking, going out etc. It just DOES NOT END. She is lucky if she gets an hour to herself at night, where she usually passes out before getting to watch any of her shows.

So of course, if I can help her take a load off and try to predict her needs so she can have a clear head for 5 minutes, I'll do it every time. If I didn't do that, all the joy and intimacy would wither and die. YOU'RE NOT A SIMP FOR TAKING CARE OF THE MOTHER OF YOUR CHILDREN.

this poor woman’s video got on the wrong side of twitter. she needs to be saved from the incels😭😭😭

I am child-free but I work with kids. Anyone who thinks that caring for four children isn't just as if not more stressful than a full-time job either doesn't have kids or is a massive failure as a parent.

love how most men’s idea of oppression is equal/equitable partnership 💗

Incels on twitter are literally crashing out over this woman asking her husband to do the same shit my parents were asking me to do when I was 13 lmao

Married man here, 13 years and counting. She does all the laundry, I do all the floors (vacuum + mop), she does all the dusting, I clean all the bathrooms. Whoever cooks the meal, the other one does the dishes. We both work full time. My wife will never have to ask me to do my job in my home because I’m a grown-ass man and this house is my responsibility, same as her. When we have kids, it’s gonna work the exact same way. For example after dinner one can bathe the baby and put him/her to bed while the other cleans everything up, so once the baby is sleeping we can both enjoy a chill evening with TV and snacks.

"They don't want to marry a traditional woman, they want to break the ballerina." A quote from a video essay about the "Ballerina Farm" family. Of course they don't want a trad wife, they want to systematically break down a woman who wanted something completely different.

My mother worked just as many hours as my dad, 40-50 hours a week. She did ALL the childcare, all the emotional labor. He never cooked a meal that wasn’t a pb&j. He didn’t know our teachers, didn’t know our hobbies. Probably didn’t know what grade we were in. My mother was essentially a single mom with a husband. 20 years in she kicked him to the curb. Thank god. Deborah didn’t need that triflin fool

The traditional family mindset is so frustrating because it totally ignores how so many of us grew up with moms that were always irritable and dad's that were disconnected.

It's concerning how things are going in terms of women's rights and the level of misogyny in today's society. It's even sadder to realise that, while we act like women's position in society is stable, we've only really had rights (at least in my knowledge of the UK and US) for about a century, with the majority of laws in our favour passed in the last 50 years. Our position is not stable and we need to keep the progress going or it will turn back fast.

It's so frustrating to me how so many men nowadays want their wife to be their second mommy

She did exactly what these guys always say women refuse to do: she communicated extremely openly and honestly about exactly what she wanted. But now it's a problem that she did that. Even though her own husband does not have a problem with it. Yeah, the problem is not that women don't communicate; its that these types of people refuse to listen because they don't want to hear that they have ever done anything wrong.

11:23 I saw someone else react to this video and he took the biggest issue with this exact line here "the bar for moms is high and the bar for dads is low." He said that the bar for women is in hell and the bar for men is above everything else and i turned off the video. I am also currently 3 months postpartum and my husband and I are going through a very similar struggle. The differece is I work outside the house and he works from home (not content creation). We do tend to fall into the stereotypical gender roles even though my working outside the home is seen as more "masculine". So we talk about it and yes it does feel bad to have to remind him to pull his weight because he took over all house duties while i was pregnant, but with the baby now it is harder to manage. So thank you Cooper, for not belittling women like that 🥰

You can't win with these people. She's a disgrace for working and not taking care of her husband, but if she wasn't working and just living off her husband, they'd be calling her a gold digger

Here's what fucks me up. She's talking about when her 4rd child was 3 months old. This was before she was an "influencer" and she was working a regular job. I don't get why people think these influencers ALWAYS had a platform or even that you don't work if you're an influencer 🤦🏼‍♀️ social media is destructive of society

As an elder millennial it is refreshing to see gen Z men defend women’s rights. 💗

these dudes are going have a rude awakening when their wives leave them and then they sit there playing stupid as to why it felt like "it came out of nowhere". Yeah sure it did bro

She’s hated because she communicated with her husband how she needed him to do two pieces of home maintenance and use his brain to think of what supplies their kids need when he’s taking them to daycare? If men are unable to handle those very uncomplicated tasks then they aren’t qualified to drive a car or be in charge of the government
