I am SO pleased you’ve all enjoyed this one so much. When I say as someone who has played 1000+ games of Clocktower this is a genuine top 5 all time favourite game of mine I am not kidding.

Corey, Bell, if you ever read this: thank you for this hilarious Loric. I say it at the end of the game but genuinely I had probably 100 possible changes in mind. Settling on just 3 was so hard but so fun.  They were also changes I knew would be enjoyed by the players in context (except the Noble change which, well, you see my reaction at the grim reveal, LOL)

When given the choice between what is optimal and what is funny, do what is funny every single time. You may or may not win, but you’ll have the time of your life

Hermit: "You have all the abilities. [-0 or -1 Outsider]"

"Crucially, a Spy can't register as Hobbe."
Off to a good start.

I'd like to see Savant: "Each day, you may visit the Storyteller to learn 2 things in private: 1 is unhelpful & 1 is false."

Jess being so tickled this whole game made it so much better 😂 she's clearly having so much fun

Jessica is having so much fun and I am so here for it

This has been an awful day, in no small part due to Dolly Parton’s death. A big thank you, especially to Jessica, for all the laughs.

I think a funny option here is to change the Drunk's ability night 1, similar to an Ojo picking the Drunk

Just see who gets told "Your ability has been changed, now it reads 'You do not know your are the Drunk. You think you are a Skyrim character, but you are not'"

Once in a while there comes a game that is just.. perfect. This is one of them. I hope you run more erratonomicon, this was hilarious

Great one. The noble being given hobbe, whilst being hobbe and the cannibal being mad as the cannibal. This van only be a chaos  game. Love it

in or out of context, "I am hypnotized by Sheep" is just a fantastic statement to find yourself making.  🐑

Jessica's laugh brings me so much joy she's got such whimsy

Jessica's laughter at 1:03:05 has warmed my soul

Thank god for Jessica & all the other synchronicities that aligned this game. Maybe the funniest clocktower I’ve ever seen. What a blast. 🤣😂.

The snipe on the noble learning themselves

4:38 I think this is a core part of the script, the worldbuilding element. Just like any other evil favored ability, most players tend to trust the people afflicted by it. I played this script recently and quickly realized that I could turn the tides by claiming to have had my ability changed and sinking a kill.

It can also kind of work as a backdoor Ojo. Players afflicted usually want to tell town what has happened; the Demon knows exactly what character has changed so if the Demon changes the Exorcist ability and a player says they’re ability got changed the next day, the Demon now knows who the Exorcist is. Which means players might be inclined to hide their ability changing…which still helps evil.

What an utterly fantastic custom loric

changing "the Demon hasn't killed yet" to "the moon is made of pudding" was phenomenal, entirely missed you had until your read it aloud to Emma, so I was still expecting the first statement, the laughter lasted a long, long length XDD

I don't think that Jessica will ever play another game of Clocktower ever again. There really isn't a reason to actually. I wish the "I don't wanna deal with this" kill had happened  to top it off  🤣🤣

homebrew? in this errataconomy?

This was a game for the ages.
I just love the chaos and fun this loric brought.

In life, you can play to win and take yourself and everything way too seriously or you can play for fun. Fun was clearly the right choice here.

We need more of this.

I would be curious to see the impact in a test game of not telling the players their ability has changed and have them try to figure out what's happening to them. Or telling them it changed but not giving them the wording so they do not exactly know what's happening. Wondering if the added chaos would make things funnier or not for the players and viewers.

We should probably have a discussion about it in the upcoming podcast. 😉
