I'm Nigerian and grew up Nigeria... trust me when I say this, there wil never be anyone as famous as Michael Jackson on the planet earth ever again

Michael Jackson was famous in places where there was no radio or TV

I’m from the future year 4026 and we still listen to Michael Jackson.

Just saw the film Michael, was not expecting a biopic to be as moving as this was. Long live Michael. The greatest to ever to do it.

it’s still so crazy how relevant and extremely famous MJ is to this day.

I grew up in Tehran, and let me tell ya, in the 80s and the 90s, EVERYONE danced and partied to MJ songs. It did not matter what religion or political party we were affiliated with. Michael Jackson was literally the one powerful force that brought us all together

i’m from antarctica and have lived in an igloo my entire life. even the polar bear that ate my sister knows who michael Jackson is

His maid, Adrian McManus, the same woman who claims she saw him take showers with little boys (who admitted under oath she never saw anything during the trial) stole a drawing he did, hair from his shower drain, a key to his bedroom and other items from his house and sold them on eBay.   She sued him for firing her, he countersued and won and the media acts like she's credible

People who werent alive at the height of MJ's popularity will never understand how no one today can come close to that.

I feel sorry that society treated Michael so badly.  He did his best for us. He was a gentle soul.  RIP

I was born in 65. He was the most Famous person of my lifetime by Far.

When Michael Jackson passed... I mourned like I knew him or he was family. My closest friend and family ask me if I needed anything from them and told me that they were sending me their deepest condolences...😭

Rest In Peace Michael Jackson....🙏

Michael Jackson was famous around the world at a time when there was no internet, social media and still reached people in every corner of this world with his talent and magic.

Damn if Lionel gets any more face-lifts, his face is going to float off into the atmosphere

MJ's level of fame will never ever be repeated. Never.
I'm from Pakistan and the fame he still has is absolutely crazy

The fact lionel is laughing and smiling and looking as young and healthy as ever makes me realise how much was stolen from Michael

Michael walking around in big shoes because he didn't want to be mean to another human 😢 sweetest soul EVER

I was a small child in a small town in Peru, with no tv and one small 5:24 radio for the entire house and I still knew who MJ was and knew his songs.  No one has matched him.

I flew overseas to Malaysia the morning after MJ died and when I landed in the cab the driver was playing his songs and all over town there were tributes to him, in Malaysia.

In India his songs broke through when others failed, you can still see people imtiating his steps in the bollywood films of 80s and 90s or his fashion style like in the hit song Muqabala, which itself gained its own legacy and was remade in 2020.

MJ truly was gigantic
