Keep in mind foster care agencies when you’re donating toys and clothes! I’m sure these agencies would LOVE such great donations for kids in care, especially during this season

I love how often you declutter so it’s always manageable and doesn’t become such a massive job. We just decluttered 3 rooms in my mothers house and it involved 5 car loads to Goodwill, a whole dump trailer of trash & approximately 10 large tubs of antiques going to auction. PLUS the rooms aren’t empty. Your videos and my mothers house have encouraged me to be more proactive about all of our “stuff”.

I think you made my four-year-old son Kyle feel pretty special by thanking "everybody and Kyle" for watching! Haha! :) It truly is a cyclical thing...as are most aspects of life. And I love getting cyclical encouragement in good habits from you, Sarah. Thanks!

Sarah: it's hard to sleep-
Me: agreed.
Sarah: when you know there's stuff like THIS.
Me: oh. Well, yeah, that too. But mostly the first thing.

I love love love a decluttering video! Living that minimalist life, it's needed. That circle of life is so real. This made my day Sarah. I never get sick of these, they are always so motivating

Currently decluttering my whole house before a move. I’m binge watching your decluttering videos to keep me on task and reminding me that minimal is bliss.

The only reason we don't end up recycling stuff like that in the states (from a personal perspective) is that the recycling companies won't accept them! So unfortunate.

@evettepadilla7344 4 years ago (edited)

Please don't blanket statement " wherever I go (in the states) people don't recycle." That couldn't be further from the truth for the San Francisco bay area and many other spots along the PNW coast.

We live in SC, USA and we recycle.

I love the decluttering and "getting my life together" episodes because it feels so relatable and reassures me that it's ok to have to do this more than once in a blue moon

As a 14 yr old me I literally just discovered the art of how satisfying decluttering and organizing is. Edit: You are such an positive person! You aspire me to be organized and positive.

Kyle can chill! This is our life. Having kids makes ya constantly evolve your space. Do you, no one has to click!

I totally understand! Decluttering is not a one and done deal. It totally needs to get done routinely. We’re in this same mode too. Now I can add this video to my playlist for decluttering motivation! Thank you!

Sarah at minute 7:17 just casually levitating while she declutters the kitchen cabinet... 😂

@maragriffin4583 4 years ago

I’m so grateful that Sarah responsibly takes care of the things she is sent and teaches us how to do it as well.

@calliejay8246 4 years ago

Also, depending on where you live, we do hardcore recycle in the states

@alexisschrock459 4 years ago

What?! We recycle in Pennsylvania! 😅

I know you've said in multiple decluttering videos that you have a lot of stuff because it is being sent to you as PR and you don't use them but you can cancel these packages or go through offers before they are sent to you instead of accepting everything that is sent to you and then having to declutter.

I have one adult son and he’s lived on his own since 18 YO…so I am very impressed at how tidy you keep your home with 4 littles! I still declutter daily/weekly. I’ve always been minimalist and tidy bit it stuff has a way of creeping in if you’re not vigilant! I liked your basket idea for limiting vases. 👍🏻
