Ida, " you`ll have to go over me", Brenda, " ma, that wouldn`t be very difficult". THAT...cracked me up!!!!😂😂 Then the look on Ida`s face was priceless. Loved, loved Rhoda💞 Valerie, we love you, we miss you😢 Make them laugh in heaven. Peace and Love✌💝
The Golden Girls, Everyone loves Raymond and other lifted entire storylines from Rhoda. Rhoda was a pioneer and the others never reached her standard. RIP Rhoda, Ida, Martin, Gary, et al
The first two seasons were best. Rhoda was always so high strung, and her life was so hectic and such a turmoil. She is like a curse in this ep. Hard to believe that man was a cop, he was so accident prone.
Hard to believe that everyone in this other than Julie Kavner and Ray Buktenika are gone now. Ron Silver died a long time even before Valerie did. Ken McMillan and the guy who played Ramon died in the 80s and both were still young.
I wouldn't be all that surprised if Pluto TV or Tubi put up a channel called just "MTM Channel," the shows of MTM, including this, Mary Tyler Moore, Phyllis, White Shadow, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues, Evening Shade, The Bob Newhart Show, Newhart, Lou Grant, WKRP, and TV-Movies, too.
I feel so old. I remember watching the show when it first came out. Now watching the episodes and finding out all the major characters except Brenda, Bennie and Johnny have passed. :(
were there not forever this dearth of creativity around showbiz in general then there'd be no marveling at the extent of imagination heaped onto this sitcom 🍸
