You weren't crazy -- those were TWO JEANETTES at the BBQ in the final scene: 1) the Jeanette who went through the past with them, and 2) the Jeanette who was saved along with the other townspeople when they returned to the night of July 11. A paradoxical effect of all of these characters existing in a new timeline!

As soon as she took the photo, I knew he was a goner.

💀 they technically let themselves go thru hell by themselves without the dad. Pretty much dooming the family one last time…. Kinda dark😭

Could have sworn there were two Jeanettes in that backyard bbq scene. The original Jeanette and the Jeanette with her parents

F in the chat for the librarian who saved them

such a selfless act to call the entire neighborhood except for your alternate self and kids. 😆

By the end of the movie, Jeannette ran to her house to save her parents and Audrey said to Denise “do you think there’s another version of us there?” and later on we can see the platt family having a nice lunch at the garden with Jeannette’s family and we can see that there are 2 Jeannette 😭 it means that the other version of Denise, Audrey, and Brian stuck in the prehistoric era 😭

Brian's trying to find his dog Starbucks at nighttime was a very, very bad idea that led to his father being eaten by the Allosaurus.

I laughed so hard seeing his leg get eaten then sad after the next bite

I liked the movie. But the ending means… Anne Hathaway lets herself and kids die in that universe right?

Loved that Kaden was only bullying Brian because he wanted some normalcy. The way the film showed everyone genuinely mourning the lives they was (the scene in the car) was so unexpectedly sweet

Denise didn’t help her neighbour identify the plant. The librarian told her that it looked like an extinct plant, but Denise never shared that information with the neighbour.

Starbuck is in reference to Lt Starbuck, Dirk Benedict’s
character in Battlestar Galactica, shown in a poster in Brian’s bedroom. The boy named the dog after him.

my hand SLAPPED over my mouth in the cinema when the dad got eaten

Im pretty sure that the Allosaurus, when hit by the sledgehammer, was playing dead, as it waited for a good angle on Greg before attacking him. Almost 5 seconds later, it is "KOED"

There was 2 Jeannettes in the ending

The fact that Ann Hathaway’s Character let her alternate self die so there’s no paradox is pshhh wild

@getskillplz5719 1 month ago

So with calling her husband (ordering the pizza) she saved him BUT the rest of the family in this timeline is doomed right? Because her other self/other kids they still got replaced back in time and got trapped and died. Thats kinda dark.

@GOASTxMOUSE 1 month ago

My question is why is there a bus in the middle of the street in the middle of the night

@Dom_foolery 1 month ago

It's really dark the implications of Denise letting her alt self and kids go alone, no dad or neighbors, but what I'm more interested in is the fact she also doesn't even fully know if they'll die. She's only assuming they won't make it back but there's a chance they could.
