As a current police officer, this man is essential to a path to helping the drug problem. The drugs lead to violence and death and even potential murder of Leo's so God bless what he and his circle is doing.

Transforming the exact 'trap houses' where they almost died into safe havens for healing is the most powerful form of community restoration I’ve ever seen. Deepest respect to Ben, Jess, and Chris for their incredible dedication.

This may be one of the best interviews you've done. That guy is fascinating.

I'm a recovering addict for 7 years. I ran for 14 years across the state of NY and NJ, my life revolved around heroin and getting high. Finally I woke up one day and realized I wanted to go to work like everyone else, have my kids in my life like everyone else, have self sufficiency and be a productive member of society. I have since got my kids back, graduating next spring with my Bachelors in Health Science and then moving onto the accelerated Nursing program with a Minor in Neuroscience. I've been locked up, Ive stripped, I sold drugs and I'm here to say that people can change, there is hope. People that come out of programs and jail want to change their lives but resources are limited. Give people a chance, have some grace, they are someone's brother, sister, daughter, son, mother...etc, and they can change the world if given the opportunity to grow and live differently. God bless anyone that can pull themselves from the pit and make a difference not only in their own lives but in others. Thank you Peter for highlighting these issues.

Hey, Pete, you need to check in with these two on a regular, there is something special about them. Sometimes earthly Angels usually have to go through hell to become what the Father needs them to do. Seriously Pete, check on these two, there is something really good there. Hopefully you see this.

I meet Ben when he had his 1st tv repair shop , he was the owner and he help me take apart and fix the tv I was working on. I seen him in a different way after that. He had respect for me and I had respect for him and when I could help him I helped him

I was going to write we need more people like this couple, but I realized I need to become like them. I am unhappy and I think one part of that is I am not helping people. I need to help people. Will look into how. Thanks for the video.

"Political ideology will collapse on first contact with human suffering."

What an incredibly powerful phrase. I'm going to remember that.

"We started paying more attention to what makes somebody different, rather than what makes them exceptional. We need to get back to rewarding exceptionalism." Truth!!!
