We're creating a book telling the story of my 18 year Youtube journey, and how Final Fantasy X changed my life, check it out here! Dansg08 Needs YOU - We’re Writing A Book, ...

It's been 25 years... I don't make these things often, but when I do, I try to do them right. More than 10 years after the first "things you didn't know" video, here's 25 more that I cooked up for your viewing pleasure! If you're new to the channel and like the content, you are in for a treat because I have countless more FFX videos for you to enjoy, please subscribe and check it out!

Having shared so many facts and stories about this game over the years, it's increasingly difficult to find ones that are not only potentially lesser known, but that I think are compelling and worth sharing with the audience. It took some time to compile this list, but I've created a set of things that range from the simple and ingenious, to things hidden in plain sight, to complex mechanical oddities and some more speculative thought provoking ideas.

Thank you to Square Enix for creating this masterpiece, thank you to the universe for bringing it my way in such a fortunate manner, and most of all, thank you guys for being fans of this game and sharing your passion with me. To be able to keep making videos after 18 years and have such a wonderful audience of viewers is a blessing I'm hugely grateful for. See you in 2051 for "50 Things You STILL Don't Know About FFX"

Been playing this game since ps2, so many playthroughs...but recently got a game over and Lulu was the last to die. As the game over screen appeared she says "Chappu..." I swear every time I play this game, I find a new little thing

2:02 fun fact, if you beat the Chocobo Eater and decline the free Chocobo ride and walk on, when you get to the S-bend where you find the Al-Bhed primer, a cutscene plays where Shelinda gets absolutely launched from a Chocobo. Best non CG cutscene in the game.

41:00 the fact that there are two completely isolated side rooms before Yojimbo's chamber of the Fayth could also be a pretty big indicator that it did initially belong to the Magus Sisters

21:43 you just casually blew my mind with that one. Brotherhood, Blitzball, water battling... He really is the water warrior of the Fayth!

Regarding Valefor... It also seems like beneath both figures there's a grave depicted? I did a little bit of digging and it seems that Valefor's name comes from Ars Goetia, where "Valefar" is described as a Duke of Hell and a tempter of humans. Some other noteworthy tidbits can be found in the runes near her Fayth, which represent the Japanese word "mu" meaning "emptiness". We also know Valefor's fayth is a little girl. Feels like there's a broader story here about a pure-hearted girl possibly thwarting the attempts of a god of trickery?? I couldn't find much more than that but I think there's gotta be more to her story. REALLY cool find, and loved all the other info here too. I learn something new about this game all the time.

Happy birthday FFX 🥳

It's just amazing how many details the developers put in this game. There was no need to because it's very unlikely anyone notices them but they did it anyway.

Happy birthday FFX! I got my very first platinum trophy on July 4th this year and made sure it was for this game. I picked it up when I was ten simply for the pretty cover art and 21 years later it still holds a special place in my heart. I cried as hard as I did the first time. I hope when I’m old it’s the last game I ever play. My favorite story in all of media. 💙

"Sin always returns for its spawn" - Tidus is that spawn.

Damn 25 years? Beaten it at least once a year since it came out. Never thought about how many times i’ve beaten it. Stupendously great game! And instantly the first fact i didn’t know. That’s crazy hearing new dialogue

The Otherworld song detail is so great.

Okay, wow. That last one about Valefor is terrifying actually, and it makes total sense. I saw a couple people in the comment section say that Valefor's Fayth could have been pregnant which would cause a second entity, and the two overdrives makes sense since none of the other aeons have two. I never noticed the demon before, super creepy. I love these little tidbits, they make me want a remake of the game every time I see them. Outstanding video, happy birthday Final Fantasy X! ❤

I remember getting my first copy that came with my PS2 back in the day when was still a kid and fell in love with FFX. Having replayed this masterpiece over and over for the past 25 years, I'm now doing another playthrough this time with my daughter. Getting to relive FFX with her has been such a journey, it feels like I get to play it again for the very first time.

Happy anniversay FFX ♡

8:00 those unused battle quotes would've added so much more weight to the final stretch!

I think this video just proves that Final Fantasy X is a gift that keeps on giving. Such a beautifully, well polished game. Thank you for this video, I didn't know most of the stuff mentioned here, as I only played the game when I was 16 on the PS2 and managed to 100% it. I still have my memory card with the save in it, probably already gone at this point. Seeing this game get so much love really reminds me of why my nickname was Yuna for a long time on the internet

I have played thousands of hours of Final Fantasy X, and I have actually heard some of those battle quotes. Granted I don't know what I did to trigger them and, I can't prove it but, I guarantee you that if you play the game often enough and long enough and keep doing things differently each time you'll get to hear some of those quotes. Take Tidus' battle quote "I don't have time for this." I have heard him say that before. Or Wakka for instance as well. "when the going gets tuff." So it's not a matter of what they didn 't use. It's a matter of when they use it.
