Another leisurely POV wander around the Nottingham Goose Fair on Saturday October 3rd, 2026. Were you there? Can you spot yourself? Enjoy.
The Beery Boater is a citizen journalist, drone pilot, and vlogger. The channel was initially set up to follow the progress of a 57-foot narrowboat DIY fit out – still work in progress.
Today the content has somewhat diversified to include: rambling; droning; green issues; fairgrounds; canal walks; allotment visits; town tours; festival drop-ins; meeting interesting people; chatting to fascinating folk; exploring quirky, off-the-cuff human-interest type topics; and producing mini documentaries, along with the occasional stop-off at a café or pub.
Playlists include ‘Meet the Boss’, ‘3-minutes’, ‘NET tram stops’, ‘Goose Fair’, and ‘Towpath Walks’.
I'm a qualified drone pilot and have been registered with the CAA since 2019. My current operator’s licence is valid until 2027. I also hold various insurances, including public indemnity insurance (up to £2,000,000) that covers me whilst I am flying my drone and undertaking other drone-related photographic activities. It would be great to have you onboard!
