Polls close at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. By 8:00, the DCL Duo Decision Desk is ready to make the call. 🗳️ Disney Cruise Line is officially revealing the Disney Believe's homeport, itineraries, new venues and entertainment on Wednesday, October 7. Sam and Brian go LIVE just hours later to call every race, break down the results and take your questions.

The Believe is Disney Cruise Line's fourth Wish-class ship and the ninth ship in the fleet. It's due in late 2027 with room for about 4,000 guests. Before tonight we already knew about the bronze Moana, Pua and Heihei statue in the Grand Hall, Tinker Bell's filigree on the bow, and Woody and Buzz "painting" the ship's name on the stern. That stern name drops the classic swirly font every other DCL ship uses. Tonight, the rest of the ballot gets counted.

In this episode:

🗺️ The Homeport Race: where the Disney Believe will sail from, and what that means for your next booking

🧭 Itinerary returns: Maiden voyage data, itineraries, and which sailings jump out as early front-runners

🍽️ New venues and entertainment: what's brand new and what carries over from the Wish, Treasure and Destiny

🌊 Bow to stern: Moana in bronze, Tinker Bell up front, and the stern font that broke a fleet-wide tradition

🎙️ Your vote counts: live chat polls, hot takes and your Disney Believe questions answered on air

📺 Join us LIVE Wednesday, October 7 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET. Bring your predictions and join the conversation!

The wish and believe feel like the same people designed them and then the treasure and destiny feel like different people designed them

Wow that was an underwhelming reveal. The Encanto show sounds nice, but there wasn’t a big new feature that made me think, “Okay, this ship will feel different.”

I felt like even the applause at the end in the live auditorium sounded like those there in person felt it was pretty meh. it was much more excited sounding applause after the Destiny reveal for example. Also, stop with the Frozen stuff. I am super excited about Encanto stage show though - I'll sail for that but I am likely skipping the Frozen dinner unless the menu is ridiculously enticing.

Disney needs to grow a pair and be authentic with this frozen restaurant and put reindeer on the menu

I walked away from the reveal very much thinking "meh". I think the influencer scavenger hunt did Disney a disservice because it resulted in lots of new ideas being thrown around (e.g. retheme Worlds of Marvel as Worlds of Pixar). Then when the grand reveal included a lot of rehash or minor remodeling of "old" venues people walked away feeling deflated and underwhelmed.

However, the Destiny gives me hope. Many of the aspects of the Destiny that we love and that are getting rave reviews are things that would not appear in any of the grand reveal announcements. It is not the specific venues but instead the interactions with characters on the Destiny (e.g. Treble making with Cruella and Dr. Facilier's Parlor). If they are able to take the interactions that started on the Treasure and were enhanced on the Destiny even further the onboard experience may be great.

I could NOT BELIEVE this event. Totally disjointed, underwhelming, redundant and frankly disappointing. All excitementI I had dissipated quickly. The concept art ... really? Only thing I can think is it's deliberate, but why? I never thought I'd see such little original thought. Frozen rotational dining, Inside Out Sweet Shop, Haunted Mansion Bar, Marvel ... come on. Even the room was silent. And don't get me started on the "Molly" jokes ... we got it, thanks. Oh well, back to the Treasure. Best of the bunch by far. How unfortunate - was looking forward to this.
