What is my worst take?

" You can tell alot by a man where he ranks MW3 2011" - Ronald Reagan

MW2, BO1, MW3, and BO2 were such cultural masterpieces but especially MW2. You just had to be there

Black ops 1 was the best of all time. It was the full package. Top tier campaign, MP and zombies. The main menu alone is so immersive

WW2 is the most underrated cod. I had so much fun with it. Felt like the old school cod games

honestly though,, i would put every cod from COD4-BO2 in S tier.

Cod 4 is S tier, when you talk about the time that came out. It truly defined what an FPS was and ever since then every FPS that has came out came from the COD 4 concept. The maps are also some of the best and are replayed to this day whenever they pop up.

World at war would have for sure been S tier for me. It literally gave you a history lesson while playing.

I think where COD made their biggest blunder was incorporating MW19 engine mechanics into the black ops series… once they did that all the games felt like DLC. They should have kept the mechanics between the two IP separate to maintain the freshness for the players.

Great list man!!

The one thing I didn’t like about the MW3 (2011) maps compared to MW2 (2009) was that MW3 had a lot of gloomy, ashy gray ass maps.

OG MW3 at B is a crime

Need a WaW remaster with more maps streaks and guns. Still has the best gore. Cod should take a year off the main series and release a remaster collection

The fact that I'm still going back to play COD 4 whenever I'm not in the mood to play bo7 and I am STILL not bored to this day says it all. No game besides WAW (also S tier) has nailed the balance of top tier simplistic gameplay with unforgettable and bone chilling ambience and "vibes" in my opinion, and it's why I'll never stop playing the game. Best two Call of Dutys alongside Black Ops 1, 2 and 3 for me.

I was hoping you would make a new tier list soon.

Idk if you’ll even see my comment but, good video. WaW was my first cod so I agree with most of your takes, nothing touches the golden era. I do appreciate you mentioning gunfight in MW19, that game was very special to me, it brought me back to cod. The way they rolled out the game, where the first thing you could play was 2v2 gunfights before the game came out, that was special man I can’t put it into words.

Ghosts was honestly couldve been an a tier if they had better maps in ghosts ngl along with the ttk and visibility ngl, extinction was really fun and the campaign was amazing for me, although this is like my 2nd cod so i could be biased

Ghosts had a great campaign, and extinction was awesome. The multiplayer had so many good ideas, but it was all ruin by massive confusing maps, a lightning fast ttk, and poor visibility. One of these problems wouldn't have ruined the multiplayer but all three were a deadly combo. I genuinely hope we get ghosts 2 some day, and the return of probably the best perk system ever made. Also one thing that I don't think I've heard anyone talk about with ghosts is it's genuinely great dlc maps, they definitely learned just too little too late.
