Dark Souls Remastered is expected to be released for all platforms: PC/Steam, PS4 (Playstation 4), Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game's release date is May 25, 2018, and the standard version will cost around €40 or $40.
Dark Souls is a third-person action RPG with hack-and-slash elements, characterized by a dark atmosphere and a difficulty level far exceeding current standards. The game received excellent reviews due to its challenging gameplay, immersive atmosphere, responsive controls, and innovative multiplayer mode—most of these aspects inherited from its spiritual predecessor, Demon's Souls.
Dark Souls II, developed by From Software, follows in the footsteps of Dark Souls. It was announced on December 7, 2012. The game was developed for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC by Namco Bandai Games. On April 7, 2015, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, a special edition of the game, was released.
The story of Dark Souls II is not directly connected to that of Dark Souls, although both take place in the same world. The protagonist finds himself in Drangleic, a once prosperous land now fallen into ruin, searching for a cure for his affliction, the Undead curse.
Dark Souls 3 is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware exclusively for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2016.
Dark Souls III is a game developed by FromSoftware and follows in the footsteps of Dark Souls II. It was announced on June 15, 2015. The game is being developed for PS4, Xbox One, and PC by Namco Bandai Games. It is expected to be released on March 24, 2016 in Japan and on April 16, 2016 in the rest of the world.
Bloodborne is an action role-playing video game directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, developed by From Software, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 platform. The game follows the player character, the Hunter, through the fictional gothic city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants have been afflicted with an abnormal blood-borne disease. Having mysteriously awakened in Yharnam on the night of "The Hunt," the Hunter searches for something known only as Paleblood for unknown reasons.
