IDRIS stepped into the Black House Radio living room and gave us one of our most special sets to date. Bringing sounds from the UK into the house, Idris took us on a journey through deep grooves, soulful moments, and high-energy records that completely transformed the room. A truly unforgettable night at Black House Radio.

Friendly reminder that this man produced the intro to Jay-Z's American Gangster 💪🏿

Fun fact: Idris Elba was a DJ long before he found fame as an actor. He began DJing at the age of 14 and was spinning records in London clubs and on pirate radio stations nearly a decade before he landed his breakout acting roles. He began using the DJ name "Mr. Kipling," which later evolved into "Big Driis".

What I love about this is how they just let THEE Idris Elba get on with it! Like he is just any other DJ at Black House Radio and not a global star.

When he started remixing Goldfinger I just was reminded of how BADLY I yearn for this man to be the next James Bond

BIG DRIIS. Real ones know he’s been doing this since before acting. He’s not new to this, he’s true to this.
