Respect

Respected Coach Xiao Han,

The video's central claim—that an unreturnable serve rests not on spin alone but on deception, speed, and strategic variation—overturns the weekend warrior's obsession with heavier rotation. I was especially struck by the distinction between brushing a surface instead of hitting a point: it reframes contact as a continuous, controllable interaction rather than a single collision. The '80% fake motion' principle also reveals how much of the serve's power lives in what the opponent believes before the racket touches the ball. When you add the instruction to use the entire body for explosive speed, the serve stops being a wrist trick and becomes a coordinated first attack.

May we stop chasing pure spin, learn to brush surfaces and sell the fake, and let every serve open the point as a deliberate weapon.

What are the 8 major placements? I would count 9: left, middle, right, each of it short, middle and long.
