Maybe it was rejected due to having so many different vendors and outsourcing of food items.  Aside from that,  for the most part it looks delicious and kept a longer shelf life than expected.

As an Italian I think that the taste may be the only logical reason that can lead the troops to not like this prototype ration.
It has a very different preparation style from the usual canned food of standard rations, therefore it is also likely to have a very different flavour.

Idk love these MRE videos but steve1989 utube vids are so cool and has a crazy passion for MRE and givez each country proper vids and gives history of all rations..even ones 70 yrs old from diff militaries ..he will eat it if can ..lets get this out on a tray..nice..mmkay!!..great review btw love your channel
