Warning: This Anthony Jeselnik Bit Is NOT For Everyone

This is the clip people warned you about. Anthony Jeselnik goes fully off the rails in this dark comedy segment from his Netflix special Bones And All — and somehow, impossibly, it ends up being some of his funniest and most masterfully crafted work yet. 😈
Dark comedy is one of the hardest things to do well in stand-up. Anyone can be offensive. Anyone can say something that shocks a crowd into silence. The skill — the actual craft — is making that same crowd laugh a second later. And nobody alive is better at that specific thing than Anthony Jeselnik.
In this clip, Jeselnik takes the audience somewhere most comedians wouldn't even think about going. And the crowd doesn't know whether to laugh, gasp, or walk out. They end up doing all three. That's the Jeselnik experience, and it's unlike anything else in comedy right now.
If you've ever wondered what the ceiling of dark humor actually looks like — this is it. This isn't offensive comedy from someone who doesn't know what they're doing. This is a world-class comedian operating at the absolute peak of his powers, using darkness not as a shortcut but as the tool of a true craftsman.
Not for the faint of heart. You've been warned. But if you make it through — you're going to hit replay.

Freud's claim was, again, that young boys craved greater or perhaps exclusive closeness with their mothers rather than sex.
And even Oedipus didn't want to do either of those things -- even though he did them. He didn't know his own father when he killed him or that his mother was his mother when he married her. His parents sent him off to die when he was a baby because of the prophecy and he ran away from his adoptive parents when he heard the prophecy himself once he was an adult, believing that his adoptive parents were his real parents.
