An error-riddled match but interesting to watch the legends.

Souths a bit limited in ability at the time, lucky to win the premiership, but good enough to beat the clown show that was Saints in 1967. I was at the match standing at the back of the Noble Stand with my schoolmates, even though my team wasn’t playing, far from impressed at what I saw. Thoroughly enjoyed this upload though; thanks for posting!

Scrums Souths 16 13.  Penalties Souths 13 11.  Four tackle rule.  Leather football in the rain.  Extremely high error count.  Very little continuity of play considering a lot of international players past present and future involved.  Souths 13 8.
