Master the Art of "Pardon?" in French | A2-B1 Listening Practice
Welcome to Part 1 of our Short French Conversations series! Today, we are focusing on a superpower every language learner needs: Asking someone to repeat or clarify what they said.
đ§ How to use this video:
Each of the 10 situations is played twice:
1. Slow Speed: To help you catch every word and grammatical structure.
2. Normal Speed: To train your ears for real-life French pace.
âïž A Note from the Creator:
When I was drafting these 10 conversations, I tried to remember all those awkward moments I've had where I just nodded along without understanding a word! đ
It was actually really fun to script these because it reminded me that asking for clarification isn't a weaknessâit's actually a great way to keep the conversation going. I hope these examples give you the confidence to speak up when you miss a detail!
